@@parthchauhan512 All are practically whiskys irrespective of their nationalities. Even in the video he mentioned all types of whiskys in a single group thus I mentioned then like that.
Around 13 years back I used to stay in a PG in Bangalore, was struggling for job. We friends had less money and we bought a cheap whiskey called as Directors Special. And man that day I got to know what is the meaning of hangover. Moment I closed my eyes I felt like I'm rolling on the floor 😂 You also try it once & share the experience 😅
Liked Jim Beam quite a lot. People usually say that Red label is only popular because of the JW name and the price but I'll give it a try. Also William Lawsons is awesome.
Among budget whiskies, I liked Maqintosh Silver Edition. It has a peaty aroma and the drink is soft and elegant. Just on the rocks, and the evening is made...
Mr Kanwar, You are a true connoisseur of whiskey taste. I totally agree with your recommendations and will follow your advice. Yesterday only half heartedly I bought a bottle of Indri whiskey. If your video had come a day earlier I would have definitely changed my mind.
Even I am the guy who drinks all the time with water ..... But seriously I have lost trust on you when you said Red label is underrated..... It should be eliminated from the list of whisky..... Your choices are completely reverse to me but still I am pressing the subscribe button😊
😂 Very similar to my opinions. Spot on about Blue Label, Paul John and Jack Daniels. Was about to buy Indri after knowing about the awards. 🙏🏽 Btw, I am a pure, water and ice guy. Nothing else required to get the flavour of the whiskey. Only point I don’t agree is Red Label which is quite terrible. Nice points and quite funny as well. 😁
Love your videos. You are very funny too. I agree, Jim beam and jack daniels are overrated for sure. Have you tried Woodford reserve & Elijah Craig? Both great bourbons and my first choice these days instead of jack daniels
Interesting video. Agree about overrated candidates. For me Red label, too is a bit strong on senses. One would always want to have single malts like Glen after developing the taste. If not possible then I think Teachers premium is acceptable as an occasional compromise. Some Japanese alternative can also be sought. JD, Jim Beam are for entirely different tastebuds I guess, they are so overpowering.
This is the second video of yours that I watched and I want to say I'm impressed. The reviews were on point especially about BP and yes All Seasons is a very good whisky. The only suggestion is to work on the setup brother. Also any suggestions on whisky choice for the 31st(available everywhere). All the best and subscribed!!!
every opinion was spot on. People just go nuts over brand and whiskey's they see and hear about on television/movies. Much rather spend my money of a decent smooth value for money whiskey rather than buying JD JM where a huge chunk of the cost is only for the brand name.
Some I agree with some I don't but unfortunately I haven't tried many of the ones you talk about. Overall, It's good to know these things and spend our money wisely. Cheers!
JW Blondie is very similar to Glenmorangie X both the products have been made for speed rail use basically for cocktails so avoid buying them for direct consumption. Also I would really like to see some love for entry level good whiskeys at a range of 1200 - 1500 like The Famous Grouse , J&B Rare and Dewars White Label.
Bhai haryana se hu me.. ye haryana ki nakli sharab ka kuch solution btao. Delhi se 200km dur hu vha se nhi la sakta har baar. Aap he hmare bde bhai ho kuch socho yaar.
Grante triplewood is most under rated, low price and best value beats double price whiskies, most over rated blenders pride dont know why the hype. Seems our taste match, agree to your review completely.
100 pipers 8 already done.. love it. It could have made my under rated list. Sorry will do better video planning next time. Here’s an extra whiskey recommendation for you .. private reserve black dog get it.
Totally agree with you on the first 3! In fact I’m going to be posting a video on my top 3 worse bourbons and JD and JB are 2 of those 3 😂 blue label is awful value for money so totally agree with you. You’ve surprised me with the Indri, you’re right it’s hugely popular and I was actually going to buy it but you’ve made me think otherwise so thanks for that! As for the wee beastie, one of my favourites, I just love that whisky. Thanks for the review!
Most welcome! I really liked your last two videos. Also the thing with Indri is that it's not a bad bottle but here we are hearing a variant of indri has become hugely popular abroad. So maybe you might end up liking it as you didn't think Old Pulteney was all that bad. In fact you liked it so I think Indri is slightly better than Old Pulteney so worth a shot I guess. I am just not a fan of maritime flavours in my whiskey. They have to be done with more deference than these whiskies exhibit. For example ,the glenmorangie tayne does it more delectably for my palate construct anyway.
Regular Indri didn’t win best whiskey, Indri Diwali Collector’s edition 2023 won the best whiskey award, bottled at 63.5% ABV. Also, red label and Glenlivet 12 are not at all underrated by any measurement, you can go to any liquor store and they’re almost always the best grossing products in their respective segments.
My favourite entry level scotch is Red label & grants only but I don’t understand why people disagree with RL and most of them haven’t heard about Grant’s. RL overall is very well rounded for its segment. Grant’s is more Katil in terms of high and tastes better.
I don't know why Old no 7 , Jack Daniel's 200 ml which has just 40% alcohol percentage gave me an excellent high but gave severe headache for three days! In addition, i had also drrunk 60 ml oaksmith gold. Is the alcohol percentage mentioned on the bottom always accurate because when i drink legacy, sterling reserve, old monk 7 years Old, ( all have 42.2 % alcohol) they never give me hangover!
AFTER DARK (not After Dark BLUE) one of the most underrated, underpriced Indian blended whiskey. Kanwar you must review, while I go for Green Label today. 🤸
u ve missed so many great...that i ve been drinking since 1997 in US...UK and Europe....J&B, Talisker, Monkey Shoulder, Oban, Bowmore,Glenmorangie .. Aberlour, ....the best are from the Speyside....Balvenie...Cardhu....The Glenns....(all Glen)...there r 150 odd distilleries....u cant drink all of them in ur lifetime....
Sir, I am your fan. So I feel concerned when you say that you have been drinking for last few days. And you have not kess than 3 drinks at one go. This is lot more than what Doctors advise as safe drinking. Please don't mind about my suggestion.
I think whiskeys like Oban 14, Lagavulin 16, Longmorn 16, Aberfieldy 12 are the most underrated. Personally i love peaty whiskeys so Laphroaig 10 is a favourite. Also since you mentioned JD as a entry level I can totally agree there are better bourbons in that price range Wild Turkey is a good one.
@@KanwarAnand You will love Aberfieldy because its the base whiskey for the entire Dewars range of blends, from the 12 year old to the double cask 34 year old.
Taste differs from person to person. So do our favorites. Thats why we have so many options. Good that you talk about your preferences without hesitation. This is important for people who watch your vodeos and who have similar taste and style. You can't please everyone. There is one selection that I disagree with you on. The Balvenie is an astonishing whiskey for its price and a by the book single malt. Something I always recommend for a beginner. It wouldn't agree with your style of drinking as it was not designed to. Also, sherry cask whiskeys are some of my favourites. (Talk about an opposing opinion!😂) Redbreast 12 is another favourite of mine. Except for a handful of times, I've never diluted whiskey. Sometimes I add a few drops to change character but that's it. Although this is a personal preference, but we should also be aware of how each product is designed to be consumed for optimum taste. Traditional Scotch and Irish whiskeys are not at designed for such dilution and many will change character drastically. A highly peated malt like The Ardbeg 10 or Laphroaig will wreak havok to the taste buds with dilution, becoming bitter and almost undrinkable for me. PS - Try Bowmore 12, if you haven't already.
Good video. Don't agree with you on Balvenie and Red Label :) , agree on all the above recommendations.Would add Famous Grouse as an under rated whisky as well. For the value its too good.
Bro I will agree with your opinion. Lucifer gold is underated try it. But I am surprised the connoisseur like you avoid neat drinking. बहोत मेहनत से बनाते हैं यार, don't mix ice n water
