Four questions you must answer in your pitch if you want any VC to listen: 1. What is the problem your product or service solves and why it so important to solve this problem? 2. How does your solution work and why it so good (or better than others)? 3. Can anyone copy your product or offer a non-infringing (in the case of a patented product) solution to the same problem? 4. What is your plan to carry the project forward? What do you need (capital, expertise, regulatory)? What analysis have you done to substantiate your needs? What do you know, you don't know?
Your idea is awesome. However, biggest downside to gig economy apps/business is that once the relationship between clients and vendor, the cook in this case, becomes established, the app is pretty much worthless and stops generating income. Uber still survives because of the randomness and one-off occasions that people want the service.
Solid business ideas you have here! The content hub idea would be helpful for content creators and businesses in dishing out content more efficiently. Awesome video!
For the playrooms in shopping malls and kid-friendly cafes idea--the reason this hasn't caught on in America is because of liability issues. Parents, especially parents with money, are REALLY lawsuit happy. So if something wrong happens with a kid while his parents are away for an hour, more likely than not his parents will sue the playroom/restaurant. So, to avoid any of this, there are no playrooms in shopping malls and no play areas in restaurants. That's also the reason why playgrounds are almost always located on government property in the U.S.--sovereign immunity (i.e. you can't sue the government for civil liability). In Russia playrooms are more widespread because parents aren't primed to sue the business if something goes wrong with their kid. And lawsuits are way harder to file and to win.
for the health idea, I think it would be good if you could just put your info in your health app on your iphone and the android version and in a way share it with the clinic/hospital you're going to. Bonus if it will translate the info automatically (this actually shouldn't be too hard since medical terms tend to be similar in every country)
Love the glasses for shopping food idea! However, that requires a tremendous amount of specialized tech processes and development from the get-go. I would think only experts in the field could get in on the action because they have the connections, the know-how and the people to make it work. For a small business entrepreneur with very little in capital and practically no connections in the relevant fields, this would be a no-go.
That Privacy thing is a Farce when you are having thousands of Blockchains that have been hacked several times in the past few years and the companies dont even tell their customers that they have been hacked, until months later. Some good Ideas but, a tonnnnnn of holes in those oppty...
you really think you can sell lingerie? i'm sorry 9/10 startups fail. and of those 1/10 only 1/100 become big the rest just remain as small local businesses with no future.
I have some objections on the "business idea validators" even though I found it solid; will not arise the same old loop that you will be trusted if you have the "numbers" but you need to have been trusted to have the numbers
Супер бизнес: нанять курьера-покупателя и повара. Курьер-покупатель посещает фудбанки и бесплатно берет свежую органическую продукцию, а повар готовит ее.
I like how she switched to Russian and said *встроенный* insted of *built-in* in the Content hub part then quickly continued in English. She is not afraid of making mistakes and owning them. Always so positive and confident! That's very inspiring 👏
For one of your suggestions related health care database, Indian government is making something called UNIFIED HEALTH INTERFACE UHI just like Very popular Unified payment interface UPI (can make payments only with mobile number via single app and multi bank Acs) UHI will connect all your hospitals data to single platform so doctor can easily know next procedure
Thanks for sharing ideas! Just a thought that don't you think playroom in malls have potential of getting sued in case kid got injured or had fight with some other kid etc
Americanize foreign restaurant menus, build better career, housing & transportation opportunities for immigrants, establish large-scale translation centers (include call centers). As for the kids, build upon places that are established. For instance: find a small private school and incentivize an incredible culinary chef.
I would love to see more play areas and kid friendly areas I feel like the United States likes to talk a big talk about being family-friendly but there are just so many parts of life that are not. I would love to even see playgrounds in places like rest stops (places on the highway where you can stop and get gas or go to the bathroom and get snacks) or airports (shout out to Buffalo airport which has a little tiny kids playground I've never seen this in any other airport in all of my other travels) If I had to make a guess I think one of the biggest issues is because the US are such a high lawsuit country and there's just so many regulations around child care that it's difficult to create a playroom at a shopping mall where families can drop their children off with an attendant especially if the child isn't potty trained. But even having just built-in play areas where the parents supervise would still be better than nothing. Indoor play areas are also so needed on rainy days or very cold days Unfortunately in my neck of the woods several of the great indoor play places closed during covid I'm not sure if they are going to come back
When my kids was smaller we used to go to IKEA just to drink tea with cake and relax without kids😅. The only place in US where you can drop your kids for two hours for free and enjoy your meal quietly 😂. Now they’re teenagers and every time we pass their playground they remember they used to play there)
English tip: as in all Indo-European languages the male pronoun is the default. If you are referring to men or women you can simply say he or him. Using ‘he or she’ reeks of ignorance at best and social Marxism at worst.
