The one tip I didn't know was going to settings and actually having you're games download to the 2tb hard drive. I went and changed that real quick 🤣

Having hdmi connected to the TV during remote play does not lead to rendering two feeds as you make it sound... it still only renders one. But some people MAY need to disconnect their hdmi because PS5 does seem to have an issue where it leads to lag with remote play. I believe this depends on TV model or perhaps 120hz models specifically. Why some people say reduce ps5 settings to 1080/60 instead... but this is NOT necessary for most people.

10:36 If that's true, sony should release an update to disable hdmi during remote play.. Because constantly plugging and unplugging the hdmi cable isn't a good idea.. You'll be sending your ps5 in for repair in no time.... Great vid...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't remote play only work when both your phone and your console are connected to the same network and within close range? Otherwise, you can only operate your console through the ps app to do stuff like download games while you're away from home and make purchases and stuff when your console is either on or in reat mode

I just got an OG PS5 digital. I. HATE. SWAPPING. DISCS. lol. Needless to say storage is pretty important. The guy I bought this from purchased this system and installed a pretty high end 2 TB M.2 and then learned he really doesn't like PS.. I picked it up for $500 CAD (about $370 USD) with the M.2, second controller and charge station. I even opened it up to check for dust, clean.. like never run before clean.. 90 percent of your tips, I didn't know, thanks for those :-) I run Chiaki on my Steam deck for remote play and it's ok, but really curious if you, or anyone that follows you can say if PS Portal is a better experience ? or basically not much difference ? If you think a normal menu is a "secret" then wait until you find out that McDonald's has this super duper ultra secret hidden burger on their menu called a Big Mac.
