XD idk about anyone else but ive headbutted someone in the nose before on accident it seems pretty effective too lol. word of advice always tell your friends if your bending over dont try standing over you and looking at you lol or be aware of where your friend is.

Uh if you mean a gun then unless you're in a stand your ground state (such as Texas or Florida) it's illegal to shoot someone even if it's in self-defense
My best friend and I have a gibberish language thing that only we know, and we’ve been practicing it for so long that we know enough words to say a full sentence. The thing we practice first and the most is calling for help, distress signals, signs of danger, and basic phrases that indicate things such as “Food”, “Help”, “Over here”, and “Seek help”. For anyone who’s interested, these are the translations of a few words. Word in “Ferret”: English “SCREEE” “Help” “EEEEEE” “Over here” “REEEEE” “Go away” “SQUEEE” “Found food come get” “YEEEEE” (Excited or happy) “MEEEEE” “Escape area” “XEEEEEE” “Friend is missing” “WEEEEEE” “Having fun” or “Come try” “VEEEEEE” “Follow” “BEEEEEE” “There’s bees here, this place is dangerous” Most of them are loud noises xd (Yes, we call the language Ferret, because we both love ferrets and ferrets are adorable. Nobody would suspect anything if we said “We’re speaking Ferret”, because that’s an animal and we’re both too socially awkward to turn someone down if they ask “Can you teach me?”...)
What I did was use a smiggle pencil box as a emergency kit. Includes a sundial, plasters, scissors, gloves and an apron. Basically, Anything random I can fit in that can save my life.
Another good area is in the middle right under ribs,this winds the attacker,As well as it might knock them off their feet,and game!! If you are wearing heels 👠 your can take it off and use it as a weapon (if u have time). I hope this helps😊
I’m questioning why I’m watching this when I’ve already taken a self defense class in karate. Especially since I’m testing for a black belt next Friday.
The utter most important defense step is to be confedent, I’ve had a couple of attackers who were twice my size back up because I seemed too confident for them to interact with (they wanted to intimidate and corner my friend when we passed them on the streets at night). So glad my father thaught me karate tricks throughout my years, never had to use those tricks just because I knew I could do some harm if need be. Confidence.

These tips are pretty accurate, I'm not exactly a martial arts master but I am a beginner in MMA and we use the weak spots tips for fighting in competitions
I love these methods. I even rewound some to remind me. I've been attacked, but it won't happen ever again. The best initial defense is pepper spray, or a knee to the nose or groin I would think.
I find any person I don't know suspicious I know exactly where to hit here the sun does not shine, if people look at me I'd move and think what u looken at don't move my head I move my eyes

It's a good video, though I have to admit; most of these ideas would be useless to me, as I rely on a wheelchair to go anywhere (due to being totally unable to walk/stand). Good thing I have my mum, my 2 older sisters & a total of 8 nieces & nephews; all of whom are fiercely protective of me (even the little ones like to help with my care). Plus, most people are terrified of my mum's anger & especially those who upset her youngest daughter. Even if an older kid in the street bullied me as a child, she'd storm out so quickly & furiously (like a mother cat protecting her kitten); & they'd actually run away screaming! LOL. So I think I can safely say that I'm in good hands, no matter what comes along! 😂
Watch yourself all the time. If you see a potential threat about to happen, have your self defense weapon ready to be used if need be. Like pepper spray have that in your hand. Also going around corners. Don't stay close to the wall that gives someone a chance to grab you on the other side of the corner.
Do the opposite of your gender expected it tends to be a shocker to the baddies and then you have your chance to run or buy a gun or tazer or stun gun and carry a knife
If you run and they catches up to you,just take an unexpected sharp turn,it will be hard for them to slow down so fast and you'll have a chance to run away

There is more to it if you you get grabbed by the neck or hair. For Example: What if they are standing behind you? What do you do? First thing is to scrunch your shoulder to your ears and pull your chin to your chest. This will squish his/her hands and make it harder for them to choke you. After that, there is a multitude of things you can do. More Examples: spin around (to the right or left) trapping both arms with your arm that you spin in that direction with.(example: spinning right, use right arm. Spinning left, use left arm) trap arms and use hand to strike neck/windpipe with crotch of hand (the area between the thumb and the index finger(pointy finger). the result of such a strike is person will stop breathing temporally and choke and immediately let you go and grab for their own throat and probably fall down.....this is where you run away.
If it's life and death, always go for throat strikes if they're open over just about anything else. Everyone has one and everyone needs it to breathe (unlike groin strikes which might only send someone into a rage). That said, if you crush the windpipe, it can be fatal, so be sure you want to use lethal force beforr you do.
I notice that a lot of comments are thanking this video, and there are some good tips in it however there are also awful ones, main one that stands out is Escaping a choke, you should not follow this video in this situation as if you strike the groin area, the attacker may also tense up from the pain and grip harder, a martial arts form to escape is to place both your arms between the gap of there arms and rapidly move your arms outwards to force the attacker to lose grip, and then you may strike the groin, just a handy tip to help you survive
