As a black female revert I'm not even upset nor do I no longer get upset with these sorts of things. It's a waste of energy. You shouldn't even want anyone who doesn't want or respect you or your community. And if there are people of this earth who are so brainwashed and ignorant to be tricked into thinking that black people are less than or less beautiful because of their skin I feel bad for you (I'll make dua that Allah has mercy on you). But, also it really has nothing to do with us (black oeople) but everything to with you and your community or the individual. So I advise black people to stop making themselves seem as less than by begging and asking other people to accept you. Love yourself and know who you are.

It’s fucked up I agree but you’re misunderstanding the problem. It has nothing to do with you at all, it’s that some cultures have strong identities and they don’t want that to disappear because the family’s cultural identity is everything to them.it’s more important than religion to some of them 🤦🏾‍♂️ It has absolutely nothing to do with “less than” “not beautiful” “skin color” but more to do with the identity of their culture that they want to preserve. If they’re Arab they want Arab grandkids, etc. It shouldn’t be like that and for a lot of families it isn’t but it’s a thing that still exists today.

In Pakistan Punjabi, Kashmiri, Siraiki, Pushtoon, Hazari, Sindhi, Memon, and Balochi parents don't marry their daughters with Urdu Speakers men from Karachi, but they allow their sons to marry Urdu Speaker girls from Karachi as an act of ethnic cleansing of Urdu Speaker. But I can see that Pakistani Punjabi, Kashmiri, Memon, and Pushtoon girls marry White, Black, Turkish, Indian, and Hispanic guys in America, Canada, Europe, Turkey, and Middle East. So isn't double standard of them against their own Pakistani Urdu Speakers who made Pakistan and gave Pakistan blue prints of nuclear technology??? Secondly, why Black revert men are always looking for light skin girls from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Europe, and Middle East to marry while there are plenty of Somali, Sudani, and Nigerian sisters are available to get married? Isn't it an act of materialism and reverse racism of those revert Black men? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bwGgxdjfobI.html

I think the main problem with the Asian community is that the majority of us aren’t racist but you have to understand that our parents want our culture to live on. I think we need to leave culture behind and focus on if the future spouse is on deen , prays and brings you closer to Allah swt.
@MD-bt1gg
@MD-bt1gg 4 года назад
Brother, I hate to break it to you, but denying your daughter or son to marry THEIR choice of spouse because of race is NOT preserving culture. Its straight up tribalism and dare I say racism. This idea of preserving culture is the most backward idea I've ever heard during my time as a Muslim. If preserving culture was so important, then why didn't Muhammad SAW emphasize this? Oh that's right, because preserving DEEN is what he preached, not culture. Culture does not live forever, no matter how hard you try to preserve it. But Allah SWT has promised us that his deen will live on.

Tbh it's not from a place of malice or racism. Most parents that do this are 1st generation immigrants from abroad. I was married to a revert , so regardless the colour or race, if the revert person has no connection to Islam before at all either through his family or his local, then I would suggest our sisters/brothers to take extra care when investigation the revert background, many of non-Muslims who jumped into ISLAM still continue having traits from their background's past, also how many years sometimes don't count as a practising Muslim, more like how they did understand the religion in the correct way, and it's not a phase in the their life, therefore you need to check how they will behave when they are in a different situation, check how they live their current life , are they willing to give up many things for the sake of Allah (swt), trust me it's not an easy task to identify all these points but sometimes you can read between the lines, once you feel he/she confused about many simple issues then know this will give you hard time in the future, from my personal experience and the people I know, these type of revert relationships will always end up in divorce or you have to accept them the way they are with their cultural traits which are a bit uncomfortable for a hardcore Muslim to accept them, therefore the problem will be bigger if you have got children. my advice try to find a revert from a Muslim background first, because a person who is reverted, he/she came back to the path of Allah regardless if they were born in a Muslim family or not. and only Allah knows.

@nsultana982
@nsultana982 4 года назад
I wasn’t questioning Bilal RA’s ancestry - I was questioning how YOU can tell that any black-skinned person doesn’t also have some Arab in them? You can’t tell who has what ancestry because we are all mixed, so your logic is backfiring because everyone’s lineage goes back to Adam AS, so nothing as interracial. Keep your KKK and Nazi mentality away from the Deen of Allah. Get ruqya done if you can - you seem a little whoozy especially with all the curses. Get off your butt, make wudu and pray extra nawafils to cleanse you of the filth in your mind, heart, and tongue.

you know what else is required of you to put on job applications? Your gender, and you’re given a billion options - because apparently gender is a separate category from sex. Clearly you subscribe to that too? Telling you. Get off your butt and make wudu. I’m sure you’re not happy as you’re writing these. Don’t worry, you’ll get a woman someday.

Al-Haakim (8194) narrated that Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “I saw (in a dream) many black sheep who were joined by many white sheep.” They said: How did you interpret it, O Messenger of Allah? He said: The non-Arabs will join you in your religion and your lineage.” They said: The non-Arabs, O Messenger of Allah? He said: “If faith were at the Pleiades, some men from among the non-Arabs would get it.” Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in as-Saheehah (1018). sad situation may allah make it easy for us all inshallah. not all culture is bad you learn adhab and akhlaq which is so important. i think it really depends on your family how educated they are on the deen this is the biggest problem a lack of knowledge. if someone has good level of islam and a proper background check has been done and istekhara there is no reason to decline that person for marriage. islam is the key to everything you need to marry someone who will take to you paradise and will be a role model for your kids.

My Pakistani dad and brothers are so racist against black people and would never accept if I married a black man, even if he was on his Deen, which I once came close to doing. My older brother married a Chinese girl who never reverted to Islam, so he basically married a kaffir and my younger brother married a white revert girl and my parents never raised any objections. I’ve always wanted to marry a white revert but my parents proved an obstacle because I’m a woman and never had a way of meeting white reverts. At the age of 45 and as a single mum, I am now considering marrying a white man, but waiting for him to convert for himself first before doing so. I’m praying that he will accept Islam for himself otherwise I won’t be able to marry him. If only Muslim brothers practiced the same strict morals and married revert women who reverted for the sake of Allah and not just for the guy. Such hypocrisy in our Muslim communities, makes me so angry and sick 😡

The biggest factor is tribalism/cultural difference, but I think there's one major issue that no one talks about in these situations... and I think we need to address it. The media has conditioned us to think dark-skinned women are not attractive, but that dark-skinned men are. chinese people are in a similar situation, but in reverse. People subconsciously feel like there's an imbalance, and that everyone is "competing" (Astagfirullah) for lighter-skinned women. This way of thinking is repulsive, but to address the issue, we need to tackle this... I think we should be doing more to elevate dark-skinned women. If we do that, things will slowlyy improve.

Muslim communities are facing the biggest epidemic in history, specifically with domestic abuse, divorce, single mothers, absent fathers, fatherless children, abortion and Muslim foster children on the rise. Many Muslim men need a wake up call and urgently need to be put right. Please do a talk about this as it’s about time we ALL heard the truth.

I want to make it clear, by the words of many notable and beloved scholars, these parents are committing Haram. By discouraging that which is Halal for your own arrogance and pride, you are in Haram. If you reject your child marrying a person who is Halal and has a good Deen because of their race or because they are a revert, you would have turned away the Sahabah Radhi Allahu Anhum because they were ALL reverts. Shame on these people and may Allah forgive them. If your Deen is that weak that you will not even recognize reality of the Sahabah Radhi Allahu Anhum, you are committing Haram in the face of Allah SWT and withholding your child's ability to complete a huge part of their Deen.
@farhanashaukat3536

Surely, there is an exception to the rule of the father acting as the wali where the father is absent, uninterested or simply unfit to be a wali in which case, the father would be disqualified from acting as his daughter’s wali. Not all Muslim men who have fathered children are fit to be fathers. What if the father has abused his own daughter, or is a racist, or is not on his Deen, or is dead? You don’t need to follow a legal process when the facts of the case speak for themselves. Just adopt a common-sense approach and seek out the next of kin who can act as a wali and if all else fails, an Imam can step in and act as the Wali. Islam covers all eventualities and provides solutions for all complex situations. We don’t need to seek a fatwa from an Imam in Saudi Arabia to validate a woman’s right to marry in the absence of her father. Seems like Muslim women can’t do anything without a man’s permission 😞

You've bought into western media manipulation sister. Feminism and all. Parents are allowed to know what's best for their children, people should stay out of parenting as a whole. Otherwise, transgenderism and other bullshit will be introduced into the homes, if it hasn't been already. As a father, at the right time, I'll decide if the man is fit or unfit, him being Somali or not will play a major role, simply because I'm Somali.

Amatullah Su Amatullah Su No he is just emphasising the point that a woman’s wali is the father and without his consent the marriage is void. If he is absent and can’t be found that’s a different issue, and obviously a woman can still get married even if she has no male mahrams in her family
@AZ-os2tc

H S a woman always needs a wali (guardian) if her father is alive present and sane no one can replace him if he is dead then it goes to the brother, uncle, grandfather etc etc to all the male relatives etc You can’t just pick and choose from Islam
