My list: -dog bowl -dog bed -dog food -dog treats -leash, collar, harness -pee pads -mess cleaner spray -chew toys -shampoo, conditioner -nail clippers, hair clippers -tooth brush (yes, these are now a thing) - dog crate -brush, comb -sweater (for small or thin coated dogs) -dog boots (if you have winter weather) -poop bags -first aid kit -baby gate (optional) -medical emergency fund ($500 is a good start, the first year you should definitely save up some money) -pet insurance

This is a great list, something I think people miss is the RESEARCH please google pet training techniques watch RU-vid do not ignore the training. It's almost more important than some of the stuff people think is nessiary.

even if you dont have cold weather you should always have boots because the hot pavement can burn their feet so its a good idea to have them :)

Ikr it’s sooo hard to convince your parents I rlly want a dog though it’s my dream my cousin has two dogs Roy and rylie one boy and one girl btw Roy and rylie are the puppies names so when i go to there house I play with Roy and rylie they r sooo cute they are Cockapoos. I also have a parent convincing tip so I’ll tell u that after :) I haven’t tried it yet but I will

So the convincing tip is that you should get a paper and a pen then write down what u need to do for the puppy what the costs of the puppy and everything eles is how the puppy can help u and you fam and write how a puppy is Useful and write how u will help buy the puppy and then at the back at the bottom write when u can get the puppy and name the holidays or the special day u could get it then write down all of the videos that say if u should get a puppy then have your parents watch the videos then at the back at the top write can we get a puppy the put yes or no then put a box on yes and no and if they pick yes they put a check in the box if they say no then they have to put an x in the no box there’s a video that shows what I’m saying so when I figure out how to put the video in the comment I will and u can watch it. :)

I had to convince my parents for a long time eventually my dads coworker was getting a puppy and my dad was interested in it because I always wanted one, we are still waiting if the puppy is available and might pick her up soon. I had to watch so many videos and search up information about shih tzu puppies lol EDIT: I GOT THE PUPPY! Her name is Millie and she is a shih tzu she’s now about 10 weeks

Oceana Animates The spray to make them smell nice, brushing spray (it makes it easier to untangle knots with out them feeling a lot of pain) car seat, dog soap, and crate.

Just because he’s small doesn’t mean he doesn’t need to be walked always exercise your dog ( also it help when training because he’ll be more relaxed and tired out so he will be able to focus better ) .

My list: Dog bed Dog food Dog bowl Leash, collar Puppy pads Preferably something that they had in there old house or something with a scent from the old house they were in Shampoo Conditioner Brush, comb Doggy seatbelt for the car Poo bags Insurance Dog treats Cleaner Cage (never use as a punishment) Travel water bottle/food bowl Toys (not the ones that squeak because it makes them think it’s alive and makes them a bit more violent as it brings out their drive to kill)

yes yes the only reason you would need a protective suit is if you’re training your dog for personal protection. If that is what you are doing, you should know that it is a big commitment and you need to have full control over your dog at all times. If you’re not experienced with dogs than you probably shouldn’t do that. German shepherds can be amazing pets, just like any other dog, if they are trained properly. They are very loyal and can be protective over their owners if you let them get too attached and don’t socialize them enough. Good luck with your dog and enjoy the puppy experience!!

@@caitlinw2201 my door is nearly always opened, we do have dog beds all over the place but still he prefers my bed. at night he sleeps in it 95% of the time and over the day he often likes it better too, sometimes not tho. it depends, as long as your dog is free to chose and you are okay with it, it's absolutely fine :)

Yes! Good luck! For shedding dogs you may want certain vacuumes that tolerate dog fur, and since that can be big, make sure to get rubber toys, I would make them a bit bigger because they need to teeth. 😄 Also get sticky things, like tapes or rollers to clean the couches!

Bless your heart that you really believed them. Petsmart uses the cheapest products but will always recommend and sell you the expensive ones. Their sales staff are not knowledgeable at all especially trainers because of their free puppy playtime my dog became aggressive from them slowing bigger dogs to pounce on him no stop. Should I mention the treats that come with moths in them yea that was not cool at all

Juju mz depends where you live. I looked up Maltipoos in ____ your should disqualify the same for where you live then scroll through all the options. Don’t be disheartened if you can’t find one yet as thousands of people are now getting puppy’s as we are in ‘quarantine’

you could try an online pick up!! all the pet stores around me (in pittsburgh) are doing curbside pick up. I'd order asap, at least here, most stores can't accommodate same day pick ups. im picking up a new foster puppy today!!! yay for puppiiiiiies
