I also prefer a 2 1/2” angle brush. Had a good feel and always seems to hold the right amount of paint. That was your complement. Now the nit pick. A spatula is used in a kitchen. It has a flexible rubber head for many uses. A “putty knife” is used for spackle or dry wall compound. A trowel may be used for a larger job. Here’s another complement...I like your videos and have been a subscriber for w while.
If I’m re-painting a room with Regal Select Matte -- the room was painted recently in eggshell - should I scuff the walls first to remove the sheen? Thanks!
As long as you're getting 2 complete coats, the sheen should be sufficiently covered! A bit of sanding wouldn't hurt, but it's not always mandatory in that case.
Great info always! We use tray liners to make cleanup easier. My husband does not edge smoothly. I confess that I like those edger contraptions to get a straighter line.
Yellow frog tape the best painters tape end of story. Also buying a 18-in roller will be the best investment you ever make. I will never paint with a 9-in roller again waste of time and energy.
Thanks so much. I have a question that I have not seen done yet and that is How to remove wallpaper or 80’s borders!!! Aaahhh! I have used the scrappy red thingy along with Downy in hot water bucket. James do you have any ideas for us?
Hi James 🧸 Thanks for the video ☆ If I tell you how I went about the job you 'd probably have a heart attack ♡ The end result wasn t too bad and some folks even fancied the work !! Which means I wasn t the only one who should have had her eyes checked !! Of course I didn t say that to them but if i see the buggers now I certainly will ¤ Sometimes I think they were just being awfuuly sweet but they did seem genuinely impressed 🧸🖼♥️🧸🎨
I need help finding a true gray paint from valspar. I'm looking for something that doesn't have a blue, green or purple undertone that will look nice with white trim. Thank you
Wagner wall roller (any model that has the tube you can fill up with paint), a bit pricier than regular roller but super worth it! Eliminates the need for paint tray and a pole.
