You CANNOT run items for $1 UNLESS you have a following or at least 100 people viewing your show. Unless you want to sell 6,000 shirts for $6,000 ....but i know you have a good following.....but not everyone has that following.
Yeah Richie on a slow month I make 10 grand selling shoes (and I have a full time job as a real estate appraiser) but I have been doing it for 8 years. It has not slowed down for me, because I could go to my garage, and sell shoes that I have been holding.. Most people its a supply chain issues, the new Jordan's being released are sitting at the malls... I not sure I could recommend starting now because people are taking a blood bath, on shoes, collectibles etc now because of inflation...
@@jersey_plug9421 Do you think purchasing TCG collectibles or any collectibles in general would be good now I've noticed certain products that are usually $3-400+ going for almost less then $100 just from people seeling off product trying to maintain their lifestyle
@@dookiehead-ll4jw Yep!!!! I just bought the Gypsy rose hot wheel that sold out in 15 minutes for 20 dollars... Somebody was selling it for 30, and I made an offer for 20.. Late 2021 the cheapest you get one was 149.99.. Any great deals you can get now. I would go for it... Prices are going to go back up I am even seeing homes selling for less than appraisal value in Southern California.. Imagine That.... Everything is usually cyclical... Not sure where are at in the cycle..
i would say to avoid what not UNLESS you have a social media following. otherwise your just gonna get snaked. way better off listing your items on ebay.
hey I am a very small RU-vid 300 subs I am a whatnot seller with 3.1k followers and over 100 streams, I can say if you decide to an item for a dollar, expect it to sell for a dollar. your starting price has so many variables right, selling funko pops is a lot diff then clothes or cards, my biggest tip I can say is, start an item for what you want the bottom dollar to be, in relation to your viewership. over the summer my viewer ship at certain is way lower then before adjusting your time your products pricing is all gonna give you a better chance of being successful. remember your completion is your self , but always be aware of time slots of influencers as daily refinement as you will be up against a higher viewer stream, I would avoid those times all together to maximize your viewership which at the end of the day more people more money. good luck. what not is life changing sorry the typos lol
It's been a decent learning curve but I've moved about $500 of stale inventory in my first consistent week. Most of these items were $1-2 too, what an amazing tool. Thanks for all the advice.
Selling items for a $1 nets .59 cents after fees. Then you gotta account for your investment plus supplies. Having a fan base helps absolutely but if your a regular average joe your gonna struggle a bit
I agree that the average joe will struggle in just about everything and live paycheck to paycheck. I’m not sure if my message is getting across. I don’t want people who watch my channel to be the average Joe. If you compound yourself through daily progress, you’re gonna be crushing, you can’t be anything but extraordinary in anything you do.

I went to one of his live Whatnot sales, and people paid more than a$1 for everything. It appeared that the items sold for several dollars each like an average of $10-12
I sew. I can make pet toys and beds and also very large cuddle blankets for people easily. But I don't want to sell on Etsy. Can I sell these on what not? I don't mind live streaming what I've made. I also know how to sell on Ebay. I did 10 Years ago and I'm getting back Into it.
I applied with just a fb page , I don't have ebay and got declined 2 times... when u apply I would make a specific video about ur inventory and show it, and why u would be a good seller. I searched on RU-vid this and it showed me good acceptance videos

You're like the Carlton Sheets of the reseller game...probably too young to get the reference, but you sound incredibly similar in your pitch. As much cheerleader as informer...but since most people won't do even the bare minimum to succeed, anyone who does probably looks like a magician of some sort.
People who say you need a following to sell things at $1, how do you think you gain that following? Do you lose money at first? Absolutely, but it's advertising, and every business requires advertising. Don't start off with the best stuff, start off with the bulk and 1 or 2 good items that will bring people in, as your audience grows bring better stuff.
