Ya! I had one of these on a DC-DC converter and the output voltage was wrong. So I took a screwdriver and turned it left and right and nothing happened. Then got courageous and wanted to find the end. Not finding the end-stop after 2 revolutions, my courage left me. Finding a datasheet, I found hints saying that it would do 25 (!) turns. And it did. And my voltage was set correctly. Thanks for cracking one open for us.
the best thing to do is REMOVE it and replace it with a normal same value pot.only 2 of the pot pins are connected.with a normal pot you can have a large knob. also what i did was to remove the 20 turn pot and connect the variable resistor pot via wires to a more convenient location on the project box.
I loose track all the time with my little electric Wowstick screwdriver and often turn 20-40 times each way with a voltmeter to find the "starting" point. lol. They are pretty tuff little Trim pots.
Our suggestion is to opt for chinese when you go for school or college projects, which requires just shorter active life, but if you are planning to go for some product using this component, kindly prefer bourns, its worth it

It is recorded poorly and the fellow does not speak clear USA English... So it makes it especially difficult for a USA English speaker to understand that is presented.
