She saw him that he is not speaking or especially understanding very well english...If I was that kid I will start to talk French or keep ingnoring her...it's pretty Shamefull for a A WGM to not let focus a 12 yeard old kid..Shame on you Belenkaya! If I enjoyed before...this time I consider your atitude total disrespectful! I will be another one from your 84% ,Cause I will Unsubscribe! And in one day,maybe more sooner that you are especting I will teach you some chess lesson and some manners!After all ,some of players are speaking for one of these reasons:getting cocky for being ahead(especially material ,but also positional advantage) or because of their lack of strenght and finding good moves(no plan at all) and try to disturb the opponent...This trash is not funny...Some trash-talker games are indeed funny..but this time you distract him a lot!Shame on you!

It's so disrepectfull for this french kid, who didn't understand everything in english ( in french countries, learning an other language could be more long because the complexity to learning french ). he clearly was thinking both time, ( chess and voice ) and not want to trashtalk too... We suppose he can't fullely concentrates in his game.. it's an unsympathetic attitude... Sorry for my english, im a french guy..

Totally agree with you!Was totally rude by her!Beside that,he wanted just to focus on game not on some stupid chat! And because of her annoying talking, he missed some good ocassions/forced line to win!Even her ,call herself "WGM" she missed at least 4 tactics too..🙄🙄 Now I'm glad when I saw how Hans check-mate her with forced sequences of 4 moves including Queen Sacrifice! And with 1 vs 3 min odds!Next time she must show more skill and less talking!She deserve some lesson about some manners,good etiquette,fair-play and so on!Is disgusting to see more of his habbits so I unsubscribed!

This was a good experience for the young man. He was able to generate a lot of counterplay against a very strong opponent and had some chances, which should encourage him to continue to improve. At 7:37, the spectacular move Rxg6 apparently wins: after fxg6, White plays Rg1 and the attack along the g-file is unstoppable. This rook sacrifice is incredibly difficult to see, especially in a blitz game. The same sacrifice was also possible at 8:11. It didn't happen, but Dina does get a laugh out of her young opponent with her banter at around 8:40.

Thank you for the video. I don’t understand the commentators who are indignant that Dina will distract the guy with conversations because he is 12 years old. And what is distracting? Her questions are non-judgemental. She doesn't offend. Just distracting. I think that the guy deliberately then answered as little as possible to her questions. Not because he doesn't understand it. But simply because he wanted to win and / or at least make the most of his efforts. It's Dina who can afford to be quietly distracted. Well, the guy knew a little that people can play like that. A small dedication to adulthood.

Maybe she was, but we can't read what goes on in her head. She's rated 2300, the kid said he was 1700. So if she would've concentrated more, and talked less she would've played much better. The trash talk is part of what she does, but I agree though I would've liked to have watched this game without her talking so much. Sometimes it's better to just cool it.

I agree wholeheartedly. Sometimes you just have to cool it. This banter by her was really a turn off. Most of the time, I like watching her videos but this one wasn't one of them. That kid was just trying to play and concentrate, plus he was shy.

We might be witnessing a villain origin story here. I'm imagining this kid returning in ten years with a mustache and a rating of ~2500. He'll be like "remember that time you trash-talked me in a park?" And Dina will be like "do you have any idea how little that narrows it down?" (Incidentally: she's a streamer. Of course she talks. Everyone does it. It's not a rated tournament. Her opponents know what they're getting into. Calm down, people.)

Her technique is the use of constant questions that force her opponents to think and be distracted. I do love her trash talk, but I would prefer that she uses it against stronger opponents.

Trash talking is common in these games. She wants to distract him. As we know, for teenagers is harder to play and talk and she knows. The teen has a fine tactics because Dina is tough. He defended well.

I have a solution for anyone who wants to block out Dina's incessant banter during the game. This assumes the person knows in advance they will be playing her. Bring along a pair of good 30db + rated foam ear plugs and to be extra safe, over-the-ear hearing protection earmuffs. She'll get the message very quickly.

It's a perfect example of how fragile and easily tilted this younger generation can be. Sweet Jesus folks, she's a streamer and needs to banter for content. The kid's gonna be fine, I promise.

Hand to watch with the sound off ash she was too annoying - just saying any old crap. Like the red arrow pointers indicating the players intentions - as an intermediate player, it helps. Personally, I think the time limits spoil a lot of these clips - want to see checkmates!

She should have let him play in peace rather than prioritizing content for the video. There is a reason players don't talk to each other like this in tournaments. Some street players can handle it some players who play on the street can't. She should have just let him focus on the game so he could play to the best of his ability. They would have made a better video.

I love how annoying you can be ❤️. I’ve read some really angry comments about your “trash talk” but I don’t understand why. It’s not a tournament, it’s a game in a park, you weren’t rude, just annoying, he’s not a defenseless kid, his a GM, according to the title, he challenged you, not the other way around. If anything, this will train his patience and temper. Do you know what would have been disrespectful? Treating him as an inferior, and you didn’t. I love your videos!
