For question “which of the follow claims regarding the negative outcomes…” answers A, C and D are saying the same thing. So you can cross them out.

Did you get some colouring done to your hair? It looks so good! I have one question Maggie. My CARS score kept increasing - went up from a 122 to a 128 and now keeps falling (124-125) - I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong! Do you have any tips or guidance for me?

Not in this video but I did just dye it red last week lol, thank you! As far as your CARS score, mine would fluctuate but until I got this strategy down it wasn’t consistently high. And also, I had bad passages that I just didn’t do well on. My advice would just be to go back to your strategy and rework it - maybe do some untimed passages, figure out if you really know how to get the main idea. In your question review see why you were getting tripped up, were you answering with arguments, did you read too slowly and not have enough time to think about the questions, etc. Keep pushing it, don’t get discouraged and let it keep falling!

I found this happened to me when I started overthinking too much. When I refocused on the main idea my score went back up again.

My biggest issue with cars right now is that my comprehension of the passages and accuracy is good without the timer (usually finish in like 14-15 minutes), but once I add the timer I just completely psych myself out and begin to re-read, I dont remember ideas, and it just snowballs. Any tips on improving this? Only seems to be a problem with CARS. Thanks! Appreciate everything you teach Maggie :)

Slowly wean your time down by 5 or 10 seconds by passage and you’ll soon be at 4 minutes!!
