the rose gold had me thinking many times I should have one but I was probably out-golded by the TFG [the yellow gold] .. I do think the rose gold is a collectable piece.
The classic stainless steel bracelet feels better than rose gold, I swapped it with DWE-5640RX-7ER bracelet. I would need another piece because the limited 40th anniversary remix watch has only half of the bracelet made of steel (literally) so complete the other half to get rid of the rose gold completely. It’s mildly searing sensation on my skin while the steel is cool🤩Pity it’s so pricey to buy limited edition G-Shock just for half of the bracelet🤣

@@masterwatch I made my mind, bought a second dwe-5640rx-7er today and completed the bracelet for my rose gold GMW-B5000GD-4ER to replace the rose gold bracelet and it feels premium, finally watch that have every function I want, water resistance 200m, solar and the most comfortable bracelet ever worn 😍

I was unsure about the Cornflakes (Recrystallised) finish but in the hand they are very nice and very interesting. I am sure these watches will see popularity with collectors in the future.
Appreciate you putting this video together. I'm in the market for a fun gold tone variant and am deciding between the 35th and the 40th (tough decision to say the least!). Having this comparison info is quite helpful.
they are both good versions, it is hard to say which one.. If I had to chose I would go 35th B5000TFG the all shiny one but the 40th Cornflake is good also, it is not an easy choice.
Update - Being patient, I've been waiting for a near pristien example of the 35th anniversary gold to surface on ebay for a reasonable price. Just recently snapped one up to commemorate a special milestone and couldn't be happier. It's such a fun piece!
The first 40th anniversary full metal square was the black Eric Haze edition! Positive display and laser printed bracelet! Would love to see a corn flake black full metal. Seems they are done with 40th releases
you are correct... I had totally forgotten about that release and I wonder if it is still available.. when I did look at it a while ago now it must have slipped past my interest because of the plain case.. I had totally about it.
@@masterwatch The 3 40th have become my favourite among all the metals. I wouldn’t mind getting the “aged ip” if it ever comes by for a decent price again. We do have one more 40th square release in December. The full carbon GCW-B5000UN!

Today I just got the gmw b 5000 35th anervarsary not a fan of the 40th anervarsary but each there own, I also have a 5610bc in a rose gold mod case and bracelet and that is lovely I was surprised that the bracelet on the mod is alot better than on the original gmw 5000 it doesn't jangle as much I own about 30+ watches all mechanical and the accuracy on these casio blows them out the water with how accurate they are with the multiband 6 not a fan of the Bluetooth can't see the point of it the only good thing about the app is to check the battery level once I did that I turned the Bluetooth off my watch so it doesn't drain the battery as fast by trying to connect to the phone 4 times aday and I just let the multiband do the job once a day. Lovely watches just not a fan of the 40th anervarsary ones . Great video mate cheers
I must admit I like the MB6 time synchronisation and I always notice it and it is so handy and means your watches are always right and again I find that so useful. I hear some of these Mods are very good. I can understand why some people don't use Bluetooth and I think Casio have designed round this as all their Bluetooth watches can be operated by using the buttons which is what I like but I do also use the Bluetooth. I chose G-Shock over a smartwatch also as I do like it being an independent item and you don't need a smartphone to make it work.
Yes same I would never buy a proper smartwatch not my taste. Love the tfc you got there looks nice in the black. I noticed on your other video that you have the Holy grail a Mr G I bet that feels lovely to wear. Have a great day mate cheers

Yes I totally agree with you. I have ordered a black mod kit and will buy a 5610 to put in it I also will buy a white paint marker to whiten the protection and G-Shock engraving to try and get the tfc look all in around £185 I no that someone sells a moded tfc on ebay for £799 using the gmw- 5000g-1 base model and uses all casio original gmw-5000TFC crystal bezel and bracelet so thinking of going for that as the original TFC is way out my price range for a watch 3+thousand but will do the mod until I've saved up. @@Big-Sheep using Casio G-Shock original spare parts to make the TFC sounds a very good option. If in doubt save up.. always save up it always makes the obtaining better and your choice will be better.
The itching to take off my rosegold GMW-B5000 off my wrist now and place it at the right bottom to complete the collection😂 at least until a more proper model comes out 🙏
