Around 1987, there was a series of interviews with former Foreign Legionnaires on Danish radio. One of them claimed to have been a member of a Jewish Nazi-hunting organisation which asked him to join the Legion to find and kill specific named Nazis whose names he would get from them. So he ended up in The Algerian War. I understand why James likes to have Guy living nearby, he has a great sense of humour.
