If you could go back in time to 1956, knowing what you know today about performance cars, what would you buy? How about something like this impossibly beautiful 1956 Chevy 210 2-door hardtop as your first choice? Restored to represent what a hardcore performance junkie might have ordered, complete with a 265 cubic inch V8 topped with dual quads, a 3-speed manual, and all the other factory-correct equipment to make it that fastest car Chevy built that year. OK, so this particular one was originally a 6-cylinder with an automatic, but it's obvious that no expense was spared in creating an authentic, correct, exact replica of a car that Chevy built in only extremely limited numbers. I'd hate to be the guy who owns the car parked next to this one-there's just no way to compete with something as nice as this.

In 1956, my brother purchased a 56 Chevy 210 2 dr. ht. It was torqoise and white which ment that it had an additional small chrome paint devider clip seperating the factory paint scheme. As a kid I really loved this car. Although, my only regret was that it came with a 6 cylinder with an automatic transmission, instead of a 265 v8. The automatic transmission was exceptable but a car that size needed an 8.

i did not even know chevy made a 210 hardtop, i have the 1956 chevy 210 sedan post car with the same wheels and hub caps on it, mine is black and white with a four speed on the floor, same color interior that this car has, i did all the work myself on mine. but this car is beautiful great job.
