My dad has been at Kanter since day one I watched this boat be built from start to finish and she wasn't originally built as a yacht but rather some sort of dinner cruiser for some company. She also had Cat C7s for main propulsion and was vastly under powered her size my dad even said right from the get go she should've had bigger more powerful engines installed. he does all of the mechanical and electrical on the boats Kanter builds. Whoever purchased her from the original owners obviously saw the potential and class this yacht was lacking from the original owners design purposes and I'm glad to see that she has been totally transformed into what she was truly meant to be in the first place. I am proud of what my dad does I myself have been aboard this yacht numerous times. Wish I could see her as she is now in person? Thanks for posting this video. :)
Though this guy is obviously new at doing reviews or walk throughs.. I am happy that he is focused on being accurate and understandable rather than high energy.. And Face it.. Those of us that can't afford these beautiful yachts.. all want this dude's job.. This is one hell of a beautifully constructed and decorated ship.. They did such a nice job.. This whole boat looks very comfortable while also showing that it is most definitely a Luxury item with it's details.. While so many yachts stroll through ports looking more and more space age.. Here comes this ship.. Obviously owned by a connoisseur of seafaring with class, exhibiting it's classic aesthetic appeal.
@@scottthompson2186 if we want to know about something whether or not we will be purchasing one, it's still good to have accurate information about the thing you are looking up, right?
I enjoyed the walk through and the yacht is sooo retro..yeah baby..if could purchase, I would in a new York minute..to heck with that modern look..the space is tremendous.
What a breath of fresh air. Contrast this with all the gloss white of other boats. The staterooms are huge too! I'd choose this over a lot of higher priced 'modern' boats.
I did a lot of the carpentry work in this boat exterior, the name bread is because the owner was some kind of bread supplier to the upper midwest area of the country, was supposed to be a corporate hospitality tool I believe. The wood is unbelievable quality mahogany sourced from south America, 1 3/4 inch thick solid on all exterior framing and 1/2 solid panels, same supplier for Gibson guitars, very fine lumber indeed.
It's refreshing to see a yacht design like this, like something from the 1920s, but with modern amenities. The wall-to-wall walnut makes her a bit dark and monochromatic on the interior, but otherwise very well thought-out. Thanks for the walk-through.
Beautiful just Beautiful ! - recruit the crew & lets go capture King Kong !!! (Just Jesting) - But very reminiscent of that classic ship on PJs great movie ! I really would love a ship of that calibre ! ~ But just a dream at the moment
Очень уютно выглядит яхта. Супер!!! В яхте есть то чего не хватает современному хай - тек дизайну. Но и есть один большой недостаток -это то что я не могу увидеть её лично.
She stands out - Moored at the side of all those bland white plastic looking boats - This is the one - So Beautiful ! - A dreamboat she really is ! - all I can say is - If Only ??? Thankyou for sharing !
Came through the Welland Canal with BREAD a few years (3-4 ?) ago. She had just left the builders in Lake Erie after a refit. We don't know what the issue was but every lock caused panic among her crew as she appeared to be a nightmare to handle, Every tie up a lock and every departure took an excessively long time as they struggled to get her on the wall and then off the wall at each lock. She hit twice and damaged her brand new paint job.
What a beautiful boat. Great job by the presenters, relaxed tone, nicely paced and (this is something that we dont see a lot), an excellent orientation around the boat. good job.
Great boat tbf, for those that want the modern performance with an older look! The upkeep of the would must be considered though.....and the name is brutal! Not having tenders is an annoyance but over all a decent boat! Side note....the young man appears to be nervous or new.......did a great job presenting and was through!!😊
Im going to have to watch again as i was thinking "what about the crew". Glorious yacht! Love her classic lines and decor. Seriouly straight out of my dreams.
Now this yacht definitly makes a statement that you are no ordinary person .You have risen above and your potential is also kinetic energy and proof of your success is in how you present it and the people you call friends will feel it too. I will take two of these and have a party I think.
Hey guys I’m not lying this was my grandpas yacht. I remember when he was building it in Florida. He brought it to Michigan in bay harbor once and that was the one time I ever was able to go on it. He said to never buy a yacht because it sucks your money away.
This is a beautiful example of a Yacht built by Kanter Yachts of St.Thomas Ontario Canada. Just down the road from our home. Their yachts are for the most part custom made to order or from plans they have at the factory. Built to last for generations if you keep them in the family. Seldom seen on the used boat market.
If I ever had the money I would definitely buy this boat I really like the thought of combining like old-school boats With like modern stuff I just looks so cool I wish I could buy it
it is not often you see a yacht with a tastefully done interior like this one. the ceiling looks very nice to. i am not sure what to say about the exterior. it does kind of grow on you.
One of the most unique features in this boat is the funnel, is not actually real, but it hinges in half like a door to reveal the deck cranes to lower the tenders in the water, very unusual, but a brilliant way to hide a modern crane that will look out of place in the "period" look that was looked for.
I would restrict it to the SB side with a walk through port. I don't want to walk through the galley everytime I go from the forward area to the aft deck.
The combination of “old world charm” and modern amenities make a truly amazing yacht! If I had this yacht my feet would very rarely touch land yet the type of people who generally get to own such a beautiful home on the ocean probably use it two or three weeks a year!
This kid is just going through the emotions, no flare, not convincing at all, no passion, and I can't believe the company rolled with this bright idea. Must be the owners nephew. 😂🤣✊👍🏼🤔
I'd like to buy that so me and my buds could go fishin' at Lake Cumberland, just to use that big grill, aft is a great place for fishin' poles, lots of T.V. S! !
Denison Yachting i grew up on the water on boats. My father was ex navy. At the age of 10 I had a 20 footer I could take out myself. Then we had the cabin cruiser. I love this yacht and if you all ever need a salesperson let me know. I adore yachts and the water. This is a beauty if I had the money she would be mine.
I'm sure the owner had some reason for the name. Personally I have no problem with it. I once had a boat named "The Bottom Line" one of my favorite sayings in business was "I will do anything legal to improve the bottom line!" Most people didn't know about the boat so they never knew the double meaning was always present.
The owner of the boat is also the owner of one of the largest grocery retailers in the western world. He bought the boat with profits made from artificially fixing bread prices and scamming customers for years. A class action suit proved him guilty, and as compensation, anyone who applied received a $25 gift card redeemable only at his stores. The name of this yacht is basically "Fuck You, Canadian Public".
Wood...hmmm...equals high maintenance for everyone....it’s beautifully modernized...took me a couple of views to get use to it.....stunning...when was this initially built?
