Three years, 3 months or 1378 videos later, I still enjoy & get amazed, how this man closes his eyes and jump in the "way back machine" and travel in his mind, to the exact moment when he recorded this songs. Once he mention to us, these video exercise, digging back into his music career, have giving him the chance to reviewed his journey as never before, remembering musicians, studios, anecdotes & stories. The last time I saw Kinky Friedman he came to Toronto with Ramblin’ Jack. All of us had fathers that were doctors. Jack was such a gentleman he offered to buy my ticket. Kinky picked up my tube of lipstick from the floor. I liked that. Real gentleman. He autographed the CD’s I bought saying God Bless Texas. He is the real deal. Thx for this. Get some rest.

This is so early 70's.......very story like..........I remember being a little guy and I would imagine people inside the speakers telling these songs/stories........Dead skunk in the middle of the road......The Streak.........CHevy van........put that with the CARS of the time and the dress......Tshirt shops you could get graphics pressed on a jersey......tshirt.....Like a cool mag wheeled Chevy van or Popeye but in the 60's/70's font usually had smoke shop attached!!!!!!!! GREAT TIMES!!!!!!!!

I must disagree with you Lee for the first time. I think lots of us, "garage band musicians" would love to see your process of making a chart for a new song. Do you listen to the song, find the key, "see the cord changes in your mind" and write them down, or you listen and play along, stop the audio and write..? One of these days share with us that creative process and give us a "pic" of your notes. I am very much interested in your technic, and guess there's a lot of fans out there with the same interest. Have a fabulous interview, do some work & get some rest. We'll see you at the venue.
