The discovery of 139,000-year-old stone tools from the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh has stumped archaeologists. The dating of the tools has led them to believe that complicated tools were being made at a time when modern humans hadn't even reached the region. It is not clear who made the stone tools but scientists don't think it was modern humans.

Researchers have suggested that the Levallois technique spread to diverse geographic regions around 125,000 years ago, when humans began dispersing from Africa. But as Rhitu Chatterjee reports for NPR, a new study documents Levallois tools found in India that date to as early as 385,000 years ago, raising complex questions about the history of this ancient technology. It's older than any Human who left Africa. So there were Ancient Humans living in the Indian Subcontinent.

The book of genesis stated “go forth and re-plenish the earth.” As in do it again. As in humans died off and were re-plenished. I’m not a Bible thumper, but do appreciate some of its historic value, minus the crazy religious stuff.

It doesn’t mention about the other Hominids which lived on Earth either. Ex: Neanderthals, Cro-Magnon, Homo-Erectus etc. It only mentions about Modern Human Beings aka Homo Sapiens. When it comes to the Bible, there are enough Quotes in the Proverbs which applies to Humans in this Day and Age. Examples: Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall. Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin condemns any people. Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.

Scientists have been speculating that Homo Sapiens out of Africa from 200,000 years reached Australia 65,000 years ago. Therefore, some of them must have settled in India 139,000 years ago.

Using luminescence dating, researchers determined that the Levallois tools dated between to 385,000 and 172,000 years ago. If their analysis is correct, the Attirampakkam tools are more than 200,000 years older than other Middle Paleolithic tools found in India, reports Kate Wong of Scientific American.

Again, we can’t conclude that these tools are exclusively from homosapients., other species could have developed similar mechanisms and techniques. We need DNA samples to conclude anything and then we’re good for the theory.
