I enjoy watching you all have fun. I am 50 and reminds me when I was a young man with my skiff, I now have a 30 foot CC, but I had just as much fun fishing LB area/Breakwall/Alamitos/HHarbor with my skiff as I do chasing Pelagics now(more travel time/less fishing), I still fish inshore but my 30 footer isn't as handy in the bays. We got a 24 skipjack in sunset aquatic! We have more fun on the skiffs then the 24 skip, just more of a raw feeling you know! See you other there brother 🤙🏻
Nice work I was diving yesterday from my 13, I really like it and sometimes I launch it from Davies ramp there in Los Alamitos. Hopefully I will see you guys out there sometime
Motor trim is important. For getting out of the hole, trim the motor down, then once you're on plane trimming more parallel to the hull should allow for a faster top speed.
So what do you like about the Whaler? Good for fishing, Crabing or just cruising around. Just wondering cause I just bought the same one (Not as Nice though lol). Can’t wait for my maiden voyage 👍🏻✌🏻
The smaller boats are more fun to rip around the harbor and you can get the bow of the boat in small corners while fishing! And most importantly it can be garage kept and don’t need to pay for storage 🤘🏻
Weight. Is everything. Whaler probably weighs less. Whaler raw haul is about 300lbs. Find an 11' and put a 35hp omc. Those are only 220lbs and scream with that motor. Cool video thanks
