We have over 35000 Cambodian living in the Greater Lowell area, and I see maybe about two - three hundred are show up. Thanks to those that show up and support our community, culture and traditions. Thanks to everyone that helped, supported, and given your valuable time to show the world that we are a strong Cambodia community in Lowell.

Yes we Lowell Cambodian need to show more support on the parade and pride. It’s just some Lowellian just lazy to walk back to the car from Pailin or not enough parking space. In Lowell our biggest Khmer event is Southeast Asian. Our Khmer New Year in Lowell is smaller celebration then SEA Water Festival.

Thai is a small group of people from China and moved to Southeast Asia and start a colonies there. Thailand is the one that are the follower’s and the copycats from the start and make their own culture to Southeast Asia. Thailand used to be Khmer Empire. Cambodia much older civilizations from the history book when siem (robbers pirate) came here. Even the western world and the Chinese documentary history book.
