Hi Colin, check out my channel, I have quite a few videos with all sorts I have already done on the Vitesse, you can skip all the Austin stuff if you like ;-) I am going through the complete car, so hopefully there will something of interest to you. Also if you want to ask any questions feel free to message me & I will try and give you the answer, Thanks Scott
Happy belated birthday, Scott! Those were some thoughtful presents you got. It's probably just as well that you are removing the body again. It will give you the opportunity to go through the chassis again and give us the opportunity to watch you! LOL Thanks for sharing your efforts.
Great haul on birthday goodies! Shows that you are a GOOD ol man! I am watchin an a learnin from you about English car construction. Thanks so much Scotty! I appreciate your camera views on Sir Vincent. It aint easy but you do a great job!
I know its a different model, but it looks so much like my mates 13/60 convertable, same lift up bonnet, but my mates still has the dynamo and clicky relay box for regulation, had to clean the contacts then that was happy. You will have to fogive me scott, im not a car person so im sure there are millions of differences under the bonnet, but the idea is the same :-) And those dam bullet connectors, Grrrrrrr lol, fine sandpaper and patience i had to apply to the ones on my mates car. Oh the same mate is rebuilding a gentry kit car, im sure you know all about those :-)
Well your dead right, theres only a few differences, a bit of trim here and there, a couple of extra badges, and then theres the straight 6, sounds like I might need to check in with you for some pointers here and there, but yep fine sandpaper and some copper slip when you reconnect seems to work best. Now a gentry, they are a nice looking little motor.
happy belated birthday scott, realy enjoy watching u work on these cars, always good to know where those little clips and pins r when going back together,i seem to loose them too and find them again once i get new ones, lol, looking forward to seeing how vincent is put together,tc
Hi Scott, circling back to catch your vids that I missed. These will be of use to me for the TR6 for sure. I'll be doing the same thing later this year (I hope).
Thanks Dave, yep & the daft thing is I have to go back to how it came apart to work out how to put it together LOL, Cheers, you apply your normal attention to detail, you will fine I'm sure
Happy Birthday Scott....There used to be lots of the little Heralds around where I live but now you wont find any..I like the look of the front of the Vitesse..
