Hey Hazy, with all the ticks you have pulled off of you have you ever been checked for lyme disease? Do you have it over there? May be why your joints etc hurt. I have lyme and I see similar symptoms of what I have in you. Take care and keep them ticks off you.

Loving these vlogs. Did the West Highland way 2 years ago. Not as tough at this but it was my first long one. Never noticed any ticks on me so shuddered at the little buggers and wondering if my old lady eyesight just meant I missed them all 🤣 But fab episodes am relating so much and I didn't even camp 🙃

In 2018 I camped in a turn off parking area near Torridon about a hundred feet from a 50 x 50 foot wood lot surrounded by nothing. There was a horny cuckoo in that wood lot that coo-coo'd all night long. This wood lot is quite close to where you are - maybe it's the same cuckoo. "Constant cuckoo" It's the same wanker!
Really enjoying your videos Lord Haze. I’m returning to hiking and outdoor stuff after decades, so your content is fun and helpful. One question I’ve got is around your feet and footwear. I was brought up to keep your feet dry with the best socks and expensive waterproof boots. You seem not to give a toss about wet feet. I was wondering how that impacts you, the thinking behind it and what you’ve got on your plates. Sorry if this question is so far out of whack, but like I said, I’ve been out of this game for eons.

Next time use a solution containing tea tree oil. Ticks and midges hate it. You can get a small spray for dogs which you spray on to stop the buggers in their tracks. Just spray it on you extremities before you set off.
With all the ticks how has smidge done for you over years iv had a few on me at times setting up camp I spotted it in my hand managed to clear myself and smidge up good leather on exposed areas and iv never had issues but not been places as severe for them as you just wandering your thoughts on the stuff mate
OMG this kid is aging... your knee and ankle..... that's age, you get used to it but the first few years when you remember what it was like as a kid are hard..... wow seeing the beginning in action...... beautiful..... no worries just accept it gets worse ;) Old ppl always say "walk it off" for a reason ;)
