I really enjoyed this epic adventure. There's so many aspects to this video/film that are such a valuable contribution to RU-vid, camping, packrafting, through hiking, reality of roughing it the ups and downs, fishing, Sweden and working as a team. Love the video! Stunning scenery and you can clearly see the passion you have for packrafting 😊. What waterproof shoes do you wear and how do you stop water getting under your trousers when getting in / out of the water?

On this video I’m wearing a pair of Solomon trail runners. I don’t stop water getting under my trousers. I just wear a pair of quick drying trousers lime these go pro by revolution race

These packrafts from Alpacka are extremely expensive (at least 1500 USD) as I’ve found out yesterday. Packrafts from Anfibio are WAY cheaper. Is there any significant quality or other difference making the Alpacka boats worth that much higher price? PS what model are you using here?

I believe the quality of the tpu is better with the Alpacka Packrafts and they are handmade to order. The packraft in this video is the Mrs Microraft.

Nice video! You've inspired me to try to get up there at some point. Maybe next summer. Can I ask you about transport? I live just outside London. I noticed you flew, but you also had a car. Did Matt drive up from the uk, or get a ferry? Or is the van a rental? Any recommendations on what's best? Thanks again!

Hi mate I’m in the process of sorting through this years trip to Glaskogen. This year I flew to Oslo then hired a car. It’s only 2.5 hours from the airport. You will go through a town called Charlottenberg which has a massive supermarket so you can stock up on route. It is really easy to get there from the UK by flight although the car rental many cheap (but worth having it)

Glaskogen is the closest wilderness to my home turf. I can leave in the morning and be there in the afternoon. We do not have any wilderness in Denmark, why I cannot get that very special be-alone-in-unspoiled-nature-feeling in Denmark. Love the pure wilderness parts of this film. Do not like that it is loaded with direct and indirect advertising for a longer list of miscellaneous products and gear. Nature and commerce does not belong together. Just my simple beliefs - and the reason why I am not going to watch this film to the end 🙂🐺
