Benjamin Franklin used the scientific method to prove reincarnation which he discreetly believed in. Abraham Lincoln as a boy in Indiana had a copy of Franklin's 'Autobiography' that he read so much, he had it memorized. Did you read 7seals.blogspot.com ? Only the returned Christ, Franklin, Lincoln and Albert Einstein reincarnated could produce that.
Indeed. The man was brilliant and had an excellent sense of humor. It amazes me that most people these days won't listen to anything you have to say unless you have a degree from a university in your field, yet the most intelligent and genius minds of history often had no degrees or education from university.

I've always loved Ben Franklin since learning about him in elementary school. He seems like a really cool eccentric dude who was laid back and wasn't afraid to live life to the fullest.

Man, he was interesting. He was ahead of his time. Learned more about him by watching Liberty's Kids and was played by Walter Cronkite. He was like Tom Skilling. He was a great man. He was the most interesting man in the world.
WatchMaiiVidz yeah but I’m not in that one lol but there is another show called TURN: Washington’s Spies that mentions him and use his inventions and show when they occupied his home. But the show is mainly about the Culper ring and show soldiers fighting, starving and freezing during winter with their wives and children, etc basically more of an average persons in the war vs the top people.

@@BradWatsonMiami I didn't see you returning in the clouds... I read a little, but it seems a little too fantastic. I may finish reading your essay out of curiosity but I don't think the Bible promotes the form of "reincarnation" that you're talking about, so how can you use a source that contradicts your premise? There's a 2nd coming of Christ, not a 3rd 4th 5th etc. I have a feeling that you're either a troll or a megalomaniac. Not trying to attack you, just criticism. I'll pray for you

It runs along the Surekill Expressway in Philly. My Grandfather's Uncle was a firefighter at the 2nd street firehouse in the 1900's, the same firehouse founded by Ben Franklin and my Grandfather was Baptized at Christ Church where Franklin was laid to rest.

Can't be a doctor without a doctorates degree. No intelligent person would go under a knife of some home-boy who only saw one RU-vid video on open heart surgery. But keep trashing formal education. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
You don't get to be a well recognized inventor who made several different everyday things including key discoveries about electricity and _not_ be a bit of a quirky weirdo.

Love for you guys to cover the Great Pig War of 1859. That one time the UK the US and Canada got into a 3 way fist fight over a pig. Its full of weird crazy goodness.
There has been a couple of states never realized that wanted to be called Franklin. Northern California as late as the 2000s there was talk of the northern counties leaving California to form a new state called Franklin, before Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado became states there was state proposed in the center of them to be called Franklin, and Eastern Tennessee wanted to leave the rest of the Tennessee (closest of becoming reality) early 1800s? that wanted to be called Franklin. TODAY, you can drive through eastern part of the state Tennessee and find the "State of Franklin" Banks.
Ben Franklin was an indentured servant to his brother. After being mistreated he ran away this made him get blacklisted and homeless settling in Philadelphia
@@mr.harper4028 what are you even talking about? The only slaves Franklin owned were two men and he eventually freed them and joined an abolitionist group.
All I needed to know about Ben Franklin, I learned from The Office. (Season 3 Episode 15) "I don't care what Jim says. That, is not the real Ben Franklin. I am 99% sure." 🤣
Growing up as a kid, all I ever associated Ben Franklin with was the kite experiment, being a founding father and being on the C note. But the more and more I learn about the man, the more I wish I knew him and what he’d be like had he lived in todays age lol
Actual question for people at Weird History, you realize history isn’t just America and Europe during medieval/dark ages time.... go out venture into Africa-ottoman empire, Western Africa, the Congo, Australia etc
Most History channels have a tendency to do this, also most African history pre-scramble is largely lost due to the loss of ancient oral traditions. Which is honestly a shame because most archeological evidence indicates pre-scramble Africa was more technologically and culturally advanced than originally thought.
Ben was A Genius for two reasons. First, He had enough intelligence to be one & second, He was a most curious person that would stop at nothing to keep his brain moving. Unlike Freud, Jung & Einstein, who came later, Ben was into as many topics as he possibly could be into. He discovered so many topics from astrology, printing &well, you know the rest. Point being is that he didn't need Japanese technology to do it all.
When he left his brothers newspaper and went to Philadelphia, he walked from Boston to Philadelphia through the woods. It took him a few days, but can you imagine doing that? Look at what they wore back then. In the woods was bears and wolves and native Americans who weren’t exactly that pleased with people like him. But he did it and was okay. People back then were a lot tougher than we are today.
@@huevoman8669 let me guess you out there looting this past week and destroying other people's property, that they have worked hard for. And all you want to do is tear it down because you think the world is unfair to you. Guess what get rid of all your government protection and rights and someone can take you out and who would care.
“If you’re starting to think now that he was a serial killer......you can relax now. He wasn’t 😐 @10:56 that made me crack up. I love your sense of humor 😂
When we were tasked to do a presentation on a scientist/physicist in school I immediately thought of Ben Franklin and because I was already starting to learn about american History I was eager to learn more about his life as we were to present the Biography and things the person invented and found out so I made a little paper Kite and band a key to it as a practical display and explained how his famous lightning experiment worked.
Benny was more important than we'll ever truly know. I've always said it, (imo) he was most popular American ever. Here in the states and abroad. If he had not gotten French support.... Well lets just say that tea and crumpets would mean more to all here. Great video.
We don’t have a current version of Ben Franklin. As a matter of course, I would tend to believe that we don’t really have any one with the problem solving thought process, coupled with the instinctive curiosity in this day and age to match Ben Franklin.
He dropped out of my Alma mater Boston Latin School, the oldest school in America for which Harvard University was originally founded one year later in 1636 to receive Boston Latin School’s first graduating class. We Boston Latin School alumni/alumnae, we always pride ourselves in having Benjamin Franklin as its famous dropout.
Always heard he greatly improved the wood burning stove because he hated the cold. He refused to secure a patent in it. He did not want to profit on something that made people comfortable.
While in downtown Philly we would walk by his grave and throw pennies on it. Located around 4th st. & Race street and only a few blocks from the Ben Franklin bridge going over the Delaware river to New Jersey. As a kid we would spend all day at the Franklin Institue. Has a old steam train engine that moves several feet.
Today we live in such a highly specialized world, that I’d find it impossible for anther human being to be such a fountainhead of ingenuity on all things like Franklin during his time.
It is barely imaginable what sort of badass life you could live as an elite politician back in the days. The spirit of the Enlightenment era was just next level stuff.

An important fact: While Franklin owned six people as household slaves in his youth, he eventually freed them and became one of the few founders to take a strong stand against slavery, calling it "an atrocious debasement of human nature". He even went even further than most abolitionists of his day by supporting schools for black children and providing legal, financial, and vocational advice to newly-freed African Americans. Before his death, his last act as a public official was drafting a petition demanding that Congress abolish slavery.
In his later years, Ben Franklin suffered from kidney stones. He reached a point where he could not even walk, and if you don't know, kidney stones are incredibly painful. Trust me, I know far too well. But there was no viable treatment back then, so Ben suffered great pain when he grew old.
I don't think we have anyone today who can compare with Franklin. He was a self-made man, a polymath, and a statesman who if something didn't exist he created it. Moreover, he was someone who proved the value of wisdom and hardwork. I don't see any celebrities doing much more these days than saying stupid things and trying to seem avant garde.
There is no modern version of Ben Franklin. He invented many things for the pure joy of doing it. Today's great inventors make one thing, cash in and then focus on their business and making money - Sergei Brin, Bill Gates, Elon Musk.
People in the 18th century: OH SHIT IT'S THAT AIR COLLUM THAT DESTROYED OUR OLD HOUSE! RUN AWAY!! Ben Franklin: Yooooo that's sick, imma follow it. Where's my horse at?
Hey watch dealer, I'm from waltham Massachusetts.. and the nickname of my city is "watch city" because the first watches were built and sold here. Fun fact
If you've read or listened to his autobiography, you'll also realize how humble and self-aware the man was. He would admit his moments of vanity and would place the majoirty of his efforts on being a decent person. Because of his hard childhood and arriving at philadelphia with nothing, he came off as a really down to earth man.
My grandma said Benjamin Franklin was her great , great , great , great , great Uncle . Way I heard it he was called founding father he fathered lost of kids . He was big time ladies man in his day . Cool old guy mad respect . He also use too study cadavers with fellow doctors . GOD Bless
Thanks for all the info and the excellent research! Was he actually mentioning germs back in the 18th century as the origin of diseases? Isn't Pasteur credited for that a hundred years later? I know of a couple of works by Mozart written for glass harmonica, but none by Beethoven (they were not really contemporaries.) Much later, though, Donizetti scored the Mad Scene of his opera 'Lucia di Lammermoor for glass harmonica to depict the character's lunacy, but nowadays it is unfortunately replaced by a flute.
