People are mad because this song is getting popular on tiktok.. it's pretty stupid to say "tiktoked" just cuz some people found the music/song they like.
This has to be my favorite performance from this show, Ryutaro's vocals are so raw. If you found this song off tiktok, I'm glad you're expanding your music taste, but please don't water down or make vkei a 'harmful' space. Bandmen are real people, and the subculture has a lot of history behind it.
so glad i found it!! got into vkei very recently. lowkey dissapointed that i didn't find this song, and band in general earlier. the vocals are SO GORGEOUS and the instrumentals are breathtaking!! definitely grateful for people sharing it, but it's so unfortunate that the subculture's being disrespected by people who r ignorant like that :(( doing my best to learn ab the culture the more i get into it!
Never been into vkei this has been one of my first looks into it, any albums songs or artists i should look into with a similar sound to this? I enjoy it a lot and would love to educate myself on this side of music
@@awife7456 Plastic Tree's sound specifically would fall under Misshitsu Kei (密室系), for sounding more 'vintage'. One of the best recommendations for similar sound would be the bands Emmurée and Deadman, for the softer atmospheric sounds. I personally don't have a whole lot of recommendations beyond that simply because they've fallen out of my head... there are hundreds of subgenres for visual kei and the best way to look into it would be to dive down a rabbit hole and find what you like and dislike. 🖤
I can't believe I keep coming back to this concert, like, 12 years later. I was in junior high when I fell in love with plastic tree and this performance literally changed me. I still listen to it and get goosebumps. 💖💖
@Wamowamo_ HI! First of all, kuuchuu buranko ("flying trapeze artists") is a novel written by Hideo Okuda, so it might be inspired or related to it. But the song itself talks mostly about the fragility of relationships, exploration, and complexity of humans and their emotions. Despite that inevitable pain, there will always be something like joy or hope. P.S. Sorry if you weren't able to understand me at all, I'm not fluent in this language, but you can find a lot of information too on the internet. 🦭
Im so glad tik tok has brought me here this song is amazing and the live of it is so cool i will check out all their other songs because of how impressed i am by them🙏
I've been a vkei fan for 8 years, and crazily I just discovered Plastic Tree early this year and in only a few months they have become one of my favorite bands ever. I think I'll listen to them for the rest of my life. Pity I didn't know them earlier :(

if I ever will have drums, I would first learn to play this! the drum part so so nice, perfectly combinated with Ryutaro´s special voice and the other instruments
The beginning reminds me of Shawn Michaels entrance. So much nostalgia throughout this song even on the first listen. I don’t even know any Japanese and yet it resonates so much that I do understand in my own way.
They have mainteined their style almost the same since 1993 😊 sadly you can't find their entire discography in Spotify 🥲 try to listen to Nega to poji album next
have never listened to such incredible sound, I usually never give my opinion on music that I appreciate or normal music but everything is incredible the sound has no faults the performance everything is incredible, I can feel something through music, this happens very rarely. Even if I don't understand Japanese I can feel emotion, I couldn't explain in words what I feel about this music.
ive been listening to plastic tree casually for a while now but this song has made me want to dive deeper into them at the moment sink is one of my favorites im hoping they upload this song onto spotify soon though o(*°▽°*)o

When you write Plastic in Japanese, specifically in katakana because it's a foreign word, you must think the word as PuLASuTICu (you add the letter 'u' after consonants, generally). Then, knowing that in Japanese there isn't 'L' you must use 'R' (the pronunciation is softer) and instead of the 'C' in 'Cu' you use 'Ku'. Then, you have: PuRASuTIKu (プラスチク). Fans around the world have taken the first syllables "PuRA" and refer to the band as such.
@@ri69000 They didnt comment it years ago bc ppl didnt know, so now that its popular they said "what do yall know", they wouldnt have said that when it wasnt popular that wouldnt make sense
