A jerk bait & a jig w megabass paddle tail. We were fishing for bass, idk why they hit lures lol but there were millions of little minnows everywhere.

The easiest way to start fishing is getting a paddle tails swimbait 3”-4” size with a ball head jig around 1/8-1/2 oz depending on how deep you’re fishing. Than just cast it around an retrieve it in at different speeds.

Depends how light you’re throwing, you can get away w most light action rods that throw 1/8 but if you’re trying to throw under that it’s hard to get a affordable rod. It’ll have to be something really cheap from alliexpress or something pretty pricy from Japan. I’m using a megabass orochi xxx

Yeah don’t event try fishing with out a license. DFG patrols the lake because a lot of unlicensed fisherman.
