Helpful. Will definitely use some of these explanations with my classes. Always nice to watch other teachers to give you ideas on how to explain and demonstrate things better.

it can be used even at C1 level. They are low level words mostly but pronunciation errors are made even by higher level students!

Colin Maltman English I am working on doing weekly uploads but I am putting a lot more time and thought into it now than I did with just my talking vids so might be less often than every week. Working on much simpler ideas and following on from my question words and getting feedback from the few people (my mum) that have watched so far.
@truebro77
@truebro77 4 года назад
it's definitely tough mate, it has taken me over a year to get 2000 subs. It's the slowest thing that will ever happen to you! Just gotta keep working through it

@@truebro77 that is so comforting. Yeah I think I have just had too much time on my hands and spent too much time on my own thinking. I started with the right idea just doing piano songs and I got great feedback and it gave me a boost with my music so that is a huge positive. Once I got that initial boost of confidence and dozen or so subscribers my imagination went into overdrive and I had a million ideas and instead of waiting till a piano song or lesson was ready I started doing all kinds of videos and ended up just basically doing a video about whatever I was doing most that week. Not very interesting. Once I start full time at work again time should morw faster so hopefully I can be more patient. So no more monologues or random funny ideas I get late at night just piano songs and tips on my hobby channel and language learning help for my mum, students and friends on my teaching channel or maybe it will all die and I can just go back to watching Colin Maltman and twoset violin and not bother 🤣.

@Robezpierd no problem man, listen out tomorrow, listen do you have an email address? I'm looking to make a list of emails so I can send the videos personally to people as RU-vid and Facebook are just not the place to get them anymore! Could you contact me on FB?

@@truebro77 extremely, I fight trying to teach my students at least not to pronounce 'e' in words like 'scared', and they just simply don't get it as we pronounce all letters in Polish, now I have some native speaker support :)
@truebro77
@truebro77 4 года назад
Aww yeah I hate those ones! Really bad. Polish is phonetic right? So I do get why some people pronounce every letter, but they have to get into the English way of thinking! :p
