shaykh abu mussab's statement of how muslims now a days prefer the mainstream speakers over someone who is hardly known is so true. Sadly its the case these days, so many scholars go unnoticed or you could say people dont even know about them but when you ask about so and so celebrity speaker they will quickly say yes we know them. We need to be very careful with regards to who we take deen from.
Some input to your 3 year old comment: A lot of Muslims like myself (new revert) grew up in The West and only speak English. I am not a born Muslim and I don't yet speak Arabic so many of these large English speaking content creators are the only ones I've been exposed to. It hasn't been until now (10 months after reversion) that Muslims I'm following online are recommending other scholars to me (who have others make English translations for them). I hope I could offer some of value!
Yasir Qadhi's change came when he graduated Medina University (That's when he was on the path of the Salaf) then he went to some universities in America and he studied Islam from a Western University and you can see that's when the change happened. He let the western universities corrupt him smh.
Yasir Qadhi said when studying in Medina University it's like the building is already made for you unlike in Yale that you have to build the building block by block.
Allahumma Barik!!! I've been waiting for this podcast to drop. I love these to two brothers for the sake of Allah!! They have made so many contributions that has brought clarity to the Deen. I ask Allah to give them the ability and the strength to keep giving the dawah they have been giving. I ask Allah to keep them both steadfast on the Deen and to increase them in honour and Imaan. May Allah grant them Jannah. Ameen
These two brothers are the reason I came closer to deen and began practicing and studying it. Allahumma barik May Allah bless them. Edit: Of course we are only guided by the permission of Allah, and these brothers dawah was just a means for me to achieve it. Jazakallah khair to the brothers for reminding me and clarifying my statement.
Two amazing brothers that have done alot for the Deen, Masha'Allah. May Allah reward you both! Ameen. I enjoy Abu Mussab's bluntness and Dawah man's approach to the youth, great combination!
Instead of slandering, maybe it would be more wise to have a dialogue with Yasir Qadhi or someone who is willing to defend him on the various issues. Allah knows best
@Maryam P. why attack the brother, he is still a human, why attack him and not have a dialogue. This is spreading hate for the man. This is dangerous, he might even be attacked physically...
Honestly I’m in shock about the last bit. I never thought a so called alim would reach the level of saying shirk in Ibadah is allowed. I feel sorry for the laymen who don’t know about the religion and don’t know where to take the religion from. حسبنا الله ونعمل وكيل اللهم ثبتناعلي الصراط المستقيم
It might be that Allah is making it clear in the eyes of muslim the reality of YQ. Allah will make him clear in his misguidance. So that we might be protected
@@limitedquantitysufiyyahexp3913 Masha Allah.. Allah's grace. May Allah keep him young and energetic till his death arrives.. and may Allah protect him and raise him in ranks
Masha-Allah sheikh Mussab may allah continue to bless you and the Ummah at large. You have spoken nothing walahi but the clear truth. For one to be guided on the straight path must be truely truthful to themself. We shouldn't be deviated by the popularity of a sheikh or scholars but the obligation ypon us is to follow the Quran and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad which is Ahlul sunnah-wal-jama. This is my first time listening to your conversation Insha-Allah i would love seek knowledge from you through your videos and podcasts. Thank you.
Too much sugar coating Dawah is an inherent disease amongst these compassionate Da’ees and imams. Sometimes , You just need a good whack in to your face and a dose of reality!
I always found brother Mussab so harsh as a young girl, but I would fear to listen to him in case I had to come face to face with my shortcomings and I’d prefer the liberal speakers even though I wore hijab and was considered religious and in the dawah for my university, you always fear to listen to these people as it will bring you face to face with how you’re practicing Islam on a surface level. I really appreciated this video, may Allah reward the brothers and give us clarity and guidance ameen
@@joshrentos216 it is, I’m saying how most youth think, especially those brought up in the West and going to Western left winged universities. Later in life you prefer the bitter truth.
Abu Mussab is very younger even 50 % Lower than his age Mashallah 🥰 Tabaraka Allah long life brother we need people brave and straight forward am enjoying the Sunni from him . Long life brother . 🥰😘✌🏼
I dont think average muslims needs these refutations and put even more doubts in ummah. We are the only major religion who keep fighying among ourselves. You may be doin this sincerely but i dont think will have positive outcome. May Allah have mercy on our shattered ummah.
@J A . On this video they repeateadly using words like we as salafiya and all that. This is not healthy. Especialy if u doing dawah. So many labels like ansar sunnah, ahlu sunnah wal jamaa and so on. Everyone claims to follow the sahabis. Enough devisions lets leave to our proper scholars and authorities to argue and leave the ummah alone and united. To have some ppls full time job is to refuting others is another bid'ah on its self.
Podcast with ustadh Abdulrahman on PARENTING in an age where kids are keeping up youtubers and Peppa Pig the sheikh son is memorizing poems from prominent men am really interested to know how he did it .
you should watch the biography of him on his youtube channel, he mentions how he has set aside a curriculum of books that his kids will have finished in memory by the age of 15 with the permission of allah, books such as buloogh al maram, umdatul ahkam etc. as i remember brother imran telling us, his kids are or were studying in egypt but idk if they still are right now
Nejma Hamid I’m not joking when I say this but I really don’t know how to link videos 😂😂😂. It’s called: ustadh abdulrahman’s life story (part (1/2)) the hot seat
Subhan Allah, barak Allahu feekum,. I really benefit both of you in the aspects of knowledge, it is make sense to me.. May Allah grant me knowledge as they do in order to fear Allah..
Assalamu Alaikum, It is so important in these times, and even more so as time progresses that when decisions arise, please ask Allah SWT for hidaya/guidance, then quran, then sunnah. Do not idolize people, if they are good Alhamdullilah, if not make dua for them.
SubhanAllah. Sad state when those who have knowledge get misguided someway n misguided others in the process not realising what they are doing. Pride comes to mind which is the main source that corrupts the heart to accept a mistake or learn from others even if they are younger.
I really don't think it was pride caused Yasir Qadhi to leave the Salafi movement. I think part of it was concluding that the teachings of ibn Abdul Wahhaab were different than the teachings of Bin Baaz, al-Uthaymeen, etc. Also, I think it was his conclusion that ibn Tayyamiyyah and ibn Abdul Wahhaab had major differences. I think he researched and thought about these things on his own and that made him leave the Salafi movement and become a non-Salafi Sunni.
6 ways to earn deeds after death 1) give a copy of the Quran every time they read it from it you gain 2) donate a wheelchair to hospital every time a person uses it you gain from it 3) participating in building a masjid 4) place a water cooler in a public place 5) plant a tree whenever a person or an animal sits in its shade you gain from it 6) share this message
You won’t believe it, how I use and not that long I admired those characters the brothers talking about. Alhamdulilah Rabil Alamin Allah swt help me and open my eyes
This is an honest question - how do you know that it is? I'm not Muslim but am very interested in this stuff, and I don't know any classical scholar that called against praying to saints - even ibn Taymiyyah says that while he is against relics and holy places, saints should still be held in respect
@@DrasscoOfRascia first of all no ibn tayymiah didn't say calling the dead is allowed and even if he did he'd be wrong as Allah says in the opening chapter of the Qur'an that we recite at least 17 times a day, you alone we worship and you alone we ask for help. No classical scholar ever said calling on the dead is ok it's dumb paganism as the dead can't even help themselves let alone help you or me. Who are these saints? Were they rightly guided? Many so called saints are disbelievers themselves and as for well known scholars who certain people call saints then we should of course respect them and they never advocated grave worship which is the reality of calling the saints
@@DrasscoOfRascia no they aren't, what you are saying in the statement above is exactly what the pagan Arabs did, they called on their saints and idols to get closer to Allah which is idol worship aka paganism
Please discuss Mazhar Mahmood on TikTok. He is misguiding so many people. Ex- music is halal, niqab is from culture, jinn cannot possess people and it is always mental illness. Audhubillah
🤩Two that I wasn’t expecting to come together & do a great podcast, but mash’Allah, In’Sha’Allah more should come out of you both together at points of time, like such you both done, because it made the video strong in certain ways! In’Sha’Allah do a podcast with brother “gabriel keresztes al romaani” a good brother upon truth!

I would like to request permission under fair use and use part of this video in an upcoming compilation to be posted back onto RU-vid. If you need more information, please get in touch Insha Allah.
Eternity ummm how dumb are you? Lol. The word exists in Arabic as well you buffoon. And they were his enemies, they didn’t accept him as a prophet, they called him madmen, poet, etc but not this word. So try again fool.
@Eternity hey man get a life... We don't even read what you say.. save yourself sometime.. Else if the path you have chosen, will not buy you time Outta hell.. which you obviously rejected..
Excellent conversation!! yasir's been getting on my nerves ever since he started trying to pander to Darwinist sentiments amidst those who disbelieve his Creator!
ALLAHU AKBAR, I had to come back here just to say that Yasir Qadhi has put a Q&A video out where one of the question someone asked if it was Shirk to go to the grave and invoke the dead or Saints. Yasir Qadhi start off by saying that the Qur'an and Sunnah prohibits it and that in doing so, it OPENS up doors to Shirk..THEN he goes on to say that he will elaborate more on the question but it is particularly awkward for him to answer for 2reasons. First reason is that he is trying his best to preach tolerance and respect of other interpretation of Islam, especially the opinions followed by the 4legal schools and especially the mainstream movements and groups of Islam. Also he says he doesn't want to flame the fans of sectarianism. So basically his trying to please everyone🤷🏾♀️ The second reason why it's awkward for him to answer is because "he has had a CHANGE in opinion with regards to his own response to the question."🤔😳 He says he have only advocated for 1 particular opinion for the past many years but now his opinion has changed😳. "8/9Years ago I went through a number of intellectual changes and rethinking through and frankly this question was the catalyst and was the main cause for me to research very intensely for a number of months". So after that, that's when he started to advocate for the other opinion which he holds now. He makes a DISCLAIMER that the lecture is about a specific issue and that is the issue of invoking saints and or the prophet (PBUH)for our needs. He give 3 primary opinions within the circle of Sunni. ~First opinion is that if someone invokes(make dua) to anyone or anything besides Allah, this is major Shirk. ~Second opinion which is the one Yasir Qadhi follows now is that invoking(making dua) to saints is Haram and an evil innovation and a stepping stone to Shirk BUT IT IS NOT SHIRK IN AND OF ITSELF unless that action is accompanied by a belief that your calling out to a God. So only if you believe that the person your calling to is a god then that's when it becomes Shirk 😳🤨🤦🏾♀️. ~The last opinion is that it is Not Shirk, it is actually encouraged to invoke saints and that it is actually pleasing to Allah to ask these entities for our needs😣. However he does say that opinion 3was mostly practiced hundreds of years ago and now only a few follow this opinion. Soo his basically his saying that when you make dua to the dead, saints or prophet for help, you are not commiting Shirk, only if you believe that those your calling to are gods then thats when it becomes Shirk 😳🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️May Allah help us and guide us all on the straight path, may Allah give us knowledge and wisdom to know the difference between truth and falsehood. Ameen
Whenever publicly you want to discredit anyone it is important to be specific as this creates mass confusion. Sometimes people get things wrong or take wrong path dosent mean we cancel the right thing the taught , cancel culture is dangerous
@J A akhi from my knowledge he is, but he is an expert in qiraat but may allah forgive him for his mistakes but if dawah man brings him to his podcast perhaps these things can be clarified
The muslims weather western or eastern should mainly focus on the scholars from the east especially from saudia Arabia. That us the headquater of Islam. And that is the only who has most knowledge on Islam. I am saying this because there is also a huge number of deceptives(not all) in the sub continenet as well. Therefore the only people to tell u the authentic Islam are saudi scholars
33:20 I thought I was too harsh because it makes me deeply uncomfortable when an Imaam or a Muazzin or anyone who's a representative of Islam having a shaven/styled beard and trousers/thobes below the ankles
rather than criticising people like Nouman Ali Khan and others should point out few of the things they said that going against quran. other than it is just pointless spitefull comments
rather than stating unnecessary rude comment, state it here so i know what Nouman ali khan or people in that circle stated that is so outrageous that you have to be rude on a fellow muslim brother to defend other fellow muslims who are helping loads of people with interesting stories and tafsirs with their knowledge. People who accuse others need to provide evidence not the otherway around. and if he really explained in some other video provide a link here rather than calling on my audacity for defending people who are extremely wellknown knowledgeable and i hardly seen them criticising others like this brothes doing here. Allah knows best.
May Allah reward you both. Please keep us educated. We are lazy learning our deen and we rely 100% on what the preachers tell us. YQ has recently confused me a lot. May Allah guide him back to the right path. We don't need reformations, the deen is complete. Problems begin when we start using our akil understanding the deen. We need spiritual understanding not otherwise. After all years of struggling to learn and understanding the deen, I reject&seek refuge from the misguidance. Subhanallah
I completely disagree with the part about not even looking at ahlul bidda. That is completely unacceptable. We will never engage in their deviations, however we need to look and listen so we can refute their arguments.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA- Two of my greatest rolemodels. You are both amazing! thank you very much for your video's. Please both of you... never stop making video's
I advise you two to speak to yasir qadhi and nouman ali khan personally rather than making a video to the public where you could be potentially slandering them.
The salaf used to warn people publicly about deviant people. It may be that they don’t have access to communication with him or they fear that talking with him might lead them to fall in, in his devious thoughts Allah knows best
What does he mean when he said the way that Nouman Ali Khan interprets the Quran is "dangerous"? I love watching his lectures and have benefited from his videos. In Sha Allah now I am trying to learn Quran from Bayyinah Institute.
@@letusreason5071 When did he do Tahreef in Quran? There's a difference in making a mistake and deliberately and intentionally trying to mislead people.
@@blank1861 nonetheless my bro, your objective is knowledge. I personally say it is better to be safe than to be unknowingly misled (intentionally or not). Sheikh Muhammad Tim also has a tafseer series ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-P-hIoTt7VVc.html
@@blank1861 I remember he once tried to say that an ayah was a palindrome like that meant something? Don't quote me on that but you might be able to find it if you search for it.
Asalaamu alaykum, I really think that part of the reason that Yasir Qadhi left the Salafi movement because he studied history and came to the conclusion that ibn Abdul Wahhaab's dawah was different that that of modern Salafi scholars like Bin Baaz and al-Uthaymeen, etc. I think he also concluded, after careful reading and research, that there are major differences between ibn Abdul Wahhaab and ibn Taymiyyah. Basically, I think YQ left the Salafi movement and became a non-Salafi Sunni because he tried to earnestly learn history and thought for himself.
Salafiya is not ibn abd alwahab or Ibn taymiya rahimahoma allah rather the way of the salaf is in the books ok the salaf themselves lik osoo asona of Ibn alimam Ahmad kitab asuna of imam Ahmad and osoul asuna lilimam albarbahari and the 4 imams of fiqh and athers like alith Ibn Saad , alawzae ,sofyan Ibn oyayna, sofyan athawri, imam Ibn almobarak ... And lot . And if Ibn abd alwahab and Ibn taymiya Even don't exist we have the schoolers from the time of imams.
That's what you think...please go read Shaykh Ibn Abdul Wahhabs books to learn the truth and what he was calling to....these evil people want to bring down Ibn Abdul Wahhab and in turn Salafi Dawah....no way they can do that, so start slandering the Shaykh
@@mysticminority9060 lol that really made me laugh. But remember how the salaf would not even listen to the Qur'an recitation of a person of innovation because they feared that that individual might misquote an ayah ( why wouldn't they when they misquote ahadith and make up lies about Islam)
It's really Heavy on my heart to accept Yasir Qadhi deviated like this. So much of his material has been a guide post to the deen for me. But even then there is still wisdom in all this as well. It reveals we can't be dependent on our Imam's. Or any charismatic celebrity today. You need to focus on Allah (set) and the beloved Prophet Muhammed (PBUH). Learn the religion for yourselves. Let your emaan be independent of any one personalities influence These imaams, especially these RU-vid celebrities can make mistakes, sometimes big ones. And if all you do is follow them, you'll follow them off the straight path. Don't follow any one blindly, that rule can only be applied to Muhammed (PBUH). The most beautiful and greatest human on Earth. The most trustworthy person This is very unfortunate, I'm sorry you had to make a public video about Yasir Qadhi I'm truly shaken and worry about his emaan FiAmaanillah
