I was born in Japan on a Navy vessel and hold dual citizenship for Japan and America. I plan on retiring in the next 10-15 years in Japan. I love all Asian food and Indian foods and was wondering if you think as the food person that I am would it be worth retiring in Japan? I love your videos and I wholeheartedly trust your opinion! I've always wanted to retire overseas and would love to live in my technical birthplace in my later years :-). Also my partner and I think your videos are so cute the way you guys interact with each other! There is so much love there even though there are very few words in you guys's videos 😇!!! Also for the last 23 years I have been studying Japanese, Chinese, Cantonese, and plan on studying the Indian dialects too! So I feel my transition would be fairly easy 🤘😇! As a retired military member with my background, I have actually lived in Japan for 6 years and I love and miss it soo much!!! Your thoughts please:-). PS. My partner wants to retire in Germany, but I told him Japan would be vastly better for what we like and the culture we would love to immerse ourselves in.

I honestly love how a lot of these snacks are packaged! I think that's one thing I'd love to see here in America. Makes it easier to portion control and for better portability!

Man, I wish there was a way to get some of those products to the US. I always want to try everything you buy.

It kinda bothers me they waste so much with the way some of these are packaged. The bags look like they can fit like a kilo but comes with 5 or 6 20 grams packets instead. Do people really buy them more because it look big even if the product it comes with is very little? I personally would avoid buying something like that.

In Kenya you need a spoon to eat thick yogurt, it's really hard to drink it. Your version of thick is our version of regular yogurt 😀😀😀❤

I’m not a big fan of mango but I had one of those energy drinks and it was amazing I usually stick then in the freezer so they’re like a slushy and it is so good

My german heart bleeds seeing me having four different trash cans for recycling, trying to minimise waste or go and buy at all these new "unpacked" supermarkets where you have to bring your own packaging, while chinese companys sell grilled corn by wrapping every corn in thick plastic...

I think its little debbie that makes a strawberry Swiss roll too and its my favorite! I try to steer away from snacks like that, but I do love those! I've had to talk myself out of buying a box many times when I walk by them in the store.

To everyone freaking out about all the packaging: most Asian countries are MUCH firmer on recycling and actually taking care of their waste than western ones. I’m sure all of these went to an appropriate bin and were appropriately recycled or disposed of. (Also, a wide majority of plastic waste in the ocean is from widescale fishing. Don’t blame individuals for what megacorporations have done.)
