Just to remove some missunderstanding. The PAUSE function doesn´t need a GO+ ... If you PAUSE a sequence or cue simpy hit PAUSE again to continue. In your case what happened was, you told the Sequence to PAUSE (PAUSE button) and then you told it to go to the next cue (GO+ button). So it just did what you told it to do, theres no bug at all.
I had temp and flash explained to me as flash: get to the look as fast as possible, ignoring fades and delays. Temp: like flash, but uses timings. The crossfade bit is a helpful addition.
Yes - that is true, i think that it was intended as crossfade function, like "crossfade IFCB" in the Hog consoles - but who knows 🙂 It serves both purposes 🙂
Using pause, just press pause again and it won't jump to the next cue, it should just continue the cue you just paused. So go+ was working as intended, i think
Ah, i was really hoping you'd show how to Toggle one of them as default as opposed to go+ vwing default. I just cannot figure it out through other guides! Maybe I'll ask discord 😊
In the command line in your cue you can type: FaderMaster XXX at full (XXX is the slot where your fader is assigned to. 201 to 230 depending on you console version. )
Can you Flash and on release go to next cue using one executor? Flash and Go+ for example. I tried assigning macro to executor but flash doesn't work well in macro it just stays on. Is there any button that you can specify command which will trigger on button down and another command on button up?
hi , theres any way that a can merge sequences? i wanted to use a fader for RED, one for GREEN and one for BLUE and mix my colour live, and never managed to do it dont merge ever just turn one on
You have to use TEMP. Make 3 sequences and set them all to TEMP. Save ONLY one color in each sequence. (Make sure that you save one color and have the other 2 colors OFF) Use Link values=Single when you store the color. When you have made all 3 colors, you can fade them in and out color by color. 😀 Let me know if it works out? 😀
It kind works but maybe I doing something wrong because if I say for example R 100 and set G and B to off I get White, because my default value is R G B at 100. One more if put the 3 faders up I should get White but I get the last color to reach max value
You can try it with "0" values instead of "OFF" .... For example: Seq1=R"100",G"0",B"0" - Seq2=R"0",G"100",B"0" - Seq3=R"0",G"0",B"100".... It should reakt a bit more as you wish, BUT if you bring all Fader DOWN you will end up in WHITE. Theres probably no better way to do it, because of the way MA does handle Sequences. I would also recommend to turn off "AutoStop" and "OFFwhenOverridden" in the Sequence Edit Settings.
LOAD and GOTO look very similar to me in terms of RESULT. can you tell me under which scenario, a LOAD is a more appropriate choice to use instead of GOTO and vice verse? Thanks in advance
I personally use LOAD if i need to fire multiple Sequences and Cues at the same time....With LOAD i can simply preload everything i need and fire it simutaniously with a GO+ LOADED command in the commandline....If you would try to do the same with GOTO, you would realize that you´ll have to press GOTO on each Sequence, then find the Cue and hit it..... this will result in an delayed playback. So to simplify it. If you wanna fire just 1 Cue then use GOTO, if you wanna fire mutliple cue´s or sequences at once use LOAD combined with a GO+ LOADED command in the command line (you can use a macro for that GO+ LOADED command, you can simply import it from the MA default macros)
