I am scared because in my mind I am not free and I havent the feeling to do what I want/could do and thats the problem in the games and not that I dont know where I have to run to get the ball from the opponent. Plus I am not really this person who is very strong in the mind by myself but I know exactly that my potential is incredible high in soccer.

Normally when a 14 year old is called promising he's a bit of a self-centred dribbler/striker with only scoring a goal on his mind but this footage is OUTSTANDING in the level of teamwork, intelligent tactics and vision displayed, besides a great dribbling skill and promising passing.

Phil was insane, I played a game against him in a final before he joined city, I remember my managers told us “to watch out for kid named Phil, make sure u try block his shots” and he literally scored about 6 or 7 goals against us, he was insane.

I was on holiday once when I was around 11 and I was playing football with a player who played for Manchester City, (he's 2 years older than me) and he was running rings around grown men. I saw him playing for their first team and instantly recognised him. Still weird for me to think about, he was actually a holiday friend when I was there haha. Legend

Guys Foden at 14yo played better than most football players that ever existed. I was playing in a big team when I was 14 and I wasnt even NEAR this level. Foden is a Talisman.

It's his ability to "pass" it between both of his own feet that sets him apart from a lot of players. Just look how many top professionals can do it. Messi, Ronaldo... It's a pity that no-one was training him at that age to use his right foot. One-footedness is not noticed when you have lots of natural speed and agility, but that deficiency will catch up with him as he ages. Arguably that was already happening in the Euros this year.

Well it’s mad just how good you have to be to be a premier league player. There’s about 200 English players in the premier league. Let’s say for arguments sake the age range is 18 to 34 years old (I know some are younger and older” - you’re essentially looking at around 15 players a year from England that truly make it as a premier league footballer. It’s really nothing. A drop in the ocean compared to how many kids grow up playing footy. The very very best players most people grew up with didn’t even make it anywhere near 4th tier football, never mind premier league. So basically you have to be a freak talent. Probably similar odds to winning the lottery.
