stop saying jaejoong couldn't handle this song. he's a man and he sounded great depise of his korean-ish english. dun assume every one is Beyouce okay. thats his version of it and it was a cover. he made no attempt to make it better than the original. and i think he did justice to this song because he went all in for this perf, as he does in every single perf. if you know he hasn't been on tv for 4 years you won't judge him like that. he knows perfectly well to deliver 100% of his heart on stage every single time.
+Chan Janie oh there are people listening to this & saying that this man can't handle the song ??. I can't understand them. I don't like Kpop, especially mainstream Kpop (no offense ; it's just that it's not my taste). As far as I know, I consider many of Kpop mainstream idols nowadays "performers" rather than "singers", because they're good at many things (dance, appearance, have a giant music-production team behind them to do all the composing, mixing, autotune etc...), many things except singing. I don't even know much about that JeaJoong & his band (whose I can't even remember the name, sorry). I've tried some of their songs, and it's not my taste at all (as expected). I've thought "well, just another Kpop idol with good appearance & star power but a weak voice". But this video gives me quite a surprise. This JeaJoong sure can sing. And he can sings well. This is a really good version of "I have nothing", indeed. Very emotional ! After all, I still don't like Kpop. But JeaJoong is not "just another weak-voice Kpop idol". I'll remember his name, especially the sensibility (even fragility) of his voice.
Oh noo You must check their ballad and accapella songs! You just cant deny how great they sound! I recommend you Tohoshinki Bolero- Love in the ice.. JYJ- W - Nine- The boys letter..
Our Jaejoong - took this song - chewed it up and spat it out - Like the PROFESSIONAL he is. It's a big song but not for JJ who has the voice and range he has to pull it off and with such EASE. Was just another song that he could put his heart into and make it seem effortless. DAM!!!! it was - AWESOME :)
I listened to this song performed by JYJ in Dome in 2010, he did great job but this performance ... just wowwwww his vocal has improved a lot. I'm so proud of him ❤❤❤
Jae Joong did an awesome job with this song!! Of course he's not going to sing it like Whitney Huston or any other woman because he is a man with a man's voice! He could improve his pronunciation but he hit the high notes beautifully! Besides, he sings with such passion he made me cry, something Whitney Huston NEVER did!! I'm really tired of people who say, Oh Jae Joong, such a pretty face! PLEASE Jae Joong is a brilliant composer, musician and actor too. After two successful albums, concert series and dramas It's time people recognize his value as a talented human being not only a pretty face! >.
umm if you hear whitney houston live you know she puts her heart and soul into all her performances. you don’t have to put her down just to lift up your fave

This is one of my favorite Whitney Houston songs, and I absolutely think that no one does it better. Despite this, I love JJ singing this song. All I know is I got goose bumps listening to him sing this. This usually does it for me in liking a song and the person singing it. Great job JJ!

Great performance...Not easy for a man to sing Whitney Houston .without trying to sound just like her. He made it his own and did a wonderful job with the tone and tempo. I don't expect his English to be perfect since it's not his language and yet he did wonderfully. Beautiful way to sing JaeJoongie...
