Wow! Judy you've reminded me so much of those question days with my daughter. We had open conversations and never shied away from the details. Our children have become so confident because we're open with them. My daughter is in her 30s now.

This period conversation usually feels like a taboo topic when it shouldn't be. I remember my first encounter was when my bestie messed her clothes in class and it was so shameful for and the boys laughing I was so sacred of periods. But I went home and had a conversation with my mum and she prepared me for it so when I started I was ready.
