Amazing as always. 2 things to add is that stampede n rapid also work even greater on sorc bc of a) pets taking up 4 skills slots with passive dmg allowing for alot more spams b) 20% extra stam regen on sorcs when slotting a pet and c) 5% extra phys dmg from sorc passive…. I also see alot of sorcs running weapon pots in raid with no source of minor savagery (no NB in group) and without camo (no source of major prophecy to stack with their own minor prophecy buff) losing about 6% crit chance this way. Bc of the massive stam sustain, using spell pots, not needing camo, and putting sorc in MK/coral just makes sense. Ok thats all /)
Great info, thanks so much! I have a question about your choice for Race Against Time. Wouldn't you prefer the other morph Channeled Acceleration? I'm not seeing the benefit of the Race morph over the base skill for parsing, and while Channelled has a nasty cast time, if it were at the start of your prebuff sequence that wouldn't matter much, and you'd have three times the duration allowing you to cast more attacks before starting to need to cast Trap. Does that make sense?
It does! Trap is a solid ST dot so you don't really want to go without casting it for too long anyway, so I just stick with RAT because it's the preferred morph in content! Casting Channeled in content ends up losing 2 GCDs/cast which is a pretty big loss
What kind of DPS number should you expect with perfected Ansuul's and Pillar? I'm working on learning to weave, but I know I'm not going to hit your numbers using Coral. Where would my combo max out at, so I know what I should be shooting for?
@eigh1puppies I'm trying to better understand your comment about weaving with Rapid Strikes. I get that the LA has to occur in the 0.2 seconds before the next skill cast. But you mention difficulty in mixing that weave rhythm with other skills. Why not just always do your weave with the LA immediately before the skill cast? Doesn't that provide a consistent rhythm throughout your rotation, even following Rapid Strikes? I'd appreciate any feedback here - what am I missing?
In regards to MA 2H. Does it buff light attacks? It sounds like it should, if that's the case, it loses some value by being paired with Velothi doesn't it?
It does buff your light attacks, but that doesn't necessarily mean you lose value with Velothi. The vMA Greatsword just adds a literal extra 500 tick of damage to your light attacks, regardless of how hard your light attacks hit. If anything, I would guess (I'm not positive) that if that value changes, it's because that damage provided by the set could scale higher or lower depending on stats.
What gear were you running in your static and dynamic parses? Maybe I missed it but don’t see where you mentioned gear that was ran in the parse. I assume AY, Coral, Maw and maelstrom 2h bb?
How can you tell when an enemy is off balanced if it doesn’t say off balance? Do you use visual cues or is there a debuff that shows under their healthbar? I never understood using exploiter if you don’t see the off balance prompt
Love your guides very helpful just when it comes to power overload what porpouse does it have cuz you only use it on parse right should you swap it off in content (Edit had to delete it because I couldn't see any replies in the comment but the ult overload what should I swap it with)
Power overload is very good in content with line one boss, such as vas hm for example, where you can start the fight just light you would on a dummy. Otherwise, I’d go Dawnbreaker front bar power overload backbar
I didn’t do a great job of differentiating the setups. Kilt is best in most content scenarios, but the dummy build utilizes maw instead of kilt. It kind of depends on setup and fight which one you choose to use, and I’ll do a better job of clarifying that next time
i have a quick question i like my sorc but i stopped using daggers and switched to prefer bow/bow have you ever tested a bow/bow setup or know how much i could hit using it last time i parsed on my sorc bow/bow i was hitting 100k using coral, mk as a buff build and coral, pillar as a normal setup both hitting 100k but i havent parsed since the pillar changes
I’m not sure that’s a great question. The only real content you’d run power overload in is vas, and you wouldn’t run velothi in there though, so this is something I’ll test for the next video, and just remember to replace power overload in most content :)
Idk why but sorc and stamblade i can never hit no where near where your videos say. I know the problems between the controller and chair. Any suggestions on how to “drill” for light attack weaving or anything to do with some of the little thing people can mess up causing huge damage losses sorc I’m at 85k plus or minus 2k and NB I’m at 72k and just can’t break that 100k barrier
Is it worth running crystal frags for minor prophecy in content if you already have minor savagery from a NB (healer more often)? Doesn't it just scale off your highest stat, so having both minor prophecy AND minor savagery is wasted no? As long as people are using essence of weapon power potions (or have another way of getting Major Savagery), the highest stat should be weapon critical right? Hence making minor prophecy redundant?... I know there are other benefits of running crystal frags like managing resources for sets like MK, Coral or just in general and also just having the massive procs from frags, but I am asking strictly about its use for Minor Prophecy... I realize perhaps there are certain setups/classes that have unique bonuses to spell critical rating alone and not weapon critical, so it would be more beneficial to stack spell critical in that case (hence getting Minor Prophecy and Major Prophecy instead of Savagery), but I am not aware of any off the top of my head... Would love for you to weigh in on this! Also, quick note that I'd like to add for the guide is using the atro synergy while wearing Jorvuld's Guidance does increase Major Berserk's duration from 10s to 14s! So trying to make sure that you're ROJO healer gets the synergy and uses it for the group is super beneficial! Pretty sweaty I know, also involves using Synergy Blocker add-ons sometimes, but the difference is huge. One last thing I want to point out. In the video, at some point, you mention that Briarheart is a "craftable" set. I just wanted to point it out for people who may think it is a craftable set, that it is not. It is an overland set. This means you can acquire it in a zone, for this one, Wrothgar. You can also purchase it off guild traders from other players. Thank you Eigh1 Puppies for the detailed video. Yeah it's just important to have either or source of the Crit buff. Most groups aren't running NB anywhere in the comp, so it's helpful to get it from Sorc. With the way everything scales these days, I can't really think of any situation off the top of my head where speccing into Prophecy or Savagery is more worthwhile. I don't really think it matters much! That's a great point with rojo! Caught that mistake for the next video thank you for pointing it out :)

The only thing I would say is that if you don't have Minor Savagery from a NB and you're using a sorc to get Minor Prophecy instead, you have to make sure you have Major Prophecy for most dps in group or else Minor Prophecy is wasted because spell critical rating will never be higher than weapon critical rating... Although, with stacking arcs, this is not a problem, it's true, since they all have camo hunter that gives both Major Buffs. Same goes with DKs that have Flames of Oblivion, Templars with Vampire's Bane... I'm just thinking out loud at this point. I suppose it is worth running when you don't have a NB. It's just unfortunate that a class like stamsorc usually has to use the weapon power pots for savagery and brutality because their "standard" build doesn't have enough space on the bar for a skill that gives the buffs. This makes it so they usually don't get Major Prophecy, but only Major Savagery from the weapon power potions. They will be buffing everyone else, but they won't buff themselves in most scenarios. A real shame.
Why do I sometimes see it flipped with regards to front bar dual wield traits and enchants? So for example Nirnhoned with flame enchant and charged with poison enchant.
Definitely some classics there. I wouldn’t consider it nearly as strong as some of the newer sets, but I don’t think it’ll be too bad until you can get your hands on some new gear. There’s a craftable set in High Isle called Order’s Wrath that is insanely strong, if anything, I’d switch out one of those sets with that for now!
@eigh1puppies much appreciated. Yeah I just want a strong set up for dungeons and solo content. I want to farm all the new sets for my tank and hopefully join a prog team as a tank. I used to play a magcro for trials, but I want to do things different and finally use my tank for trials instead :D my tank has always been my main overall, but joining a trial team was always harder as a tank so I went the easy route and went dps.
Though I wouldn't recommend the dummy setup, this video hopefully equips you with skill and gear information to make the changes necessary for your goals :) For solo Dragonstar I'd probably change quite a few things, namedly some skill decisions, probably a setup like Orders Wrath/Ansuul, maybe even False God depending on your needs, but it's a tough task to make a fully optimized build for your goals without a bit more info! Powerful overload is annoying because it’s bugged and eso doesn’t seem to plan to fix it. They nerf and boost other things in the game but can’t fix it. I don’t want to hear lightning for 10 minutes+ straight. In the glitch am I stronger too that’s the only way it’s worth listening to.
@@eigh1puppies google overload eso glitched there’s a few Reddit articles. You basically get stuck in that mode, particle effect and slow as snails. Etc. surprised to hear that. I’m PS5.
@Rreka240 I didn't realize that was caused by Overload! It happened to me twice and I'm not sure what combo triggered it, but it was annoying to cancel out.
@@firemyst9064 unfortunately I learned the only way to cancel it you need to leave where you are. For example if it’s a dungeon you’re locked in that mode until the end and you leave. If it’s a delve you need to leave the place, so if you’re in the middle of something you have to suck it up or leave and restart. Can’t remember if dying turns it off, but the goal is to never die but I’m not sure if that does it or not as I don’t use that move anymore. The ability to turn on and off is bugged. Not worth it basically. My sorc is a 1 bar build now with all the daedric summoning moves. It’s very good actually. I’d replace that move with dawn breaker though.
