Minor correction at 7:25, when you have a RHP zero and LHP pole, the phase will START at 180, and then drop to 0. This is just a very nitpicky detail but I thought I might as well leave a comment.

@9:10 - @10:20 very important intuitive conclusion

I would very much like to know what are the learning resources (books, articles) that this course is based upon.

If you find a material that deals with extra element theorem, you will find most of the information covered here. For example 1.Linear Circuit Transfer functions an Introduction to Fast Analytical Techniques by Christophe Basso-Easy to understand 2.Fast Analytical Techniques for Electrical and Electronic Circuits by Vatche Vorperian - This needs a lot of commitment. The first reference took most of the ideas here. 3. Generalized time-and transfer-constant circuit analysis - IEEE paper by Ali Hajimiri 4. If you are interested in the treatment of the material in power electronics, the topic is covered in the "Fundamentals of power electronics" by Erickson.

Professor, at 17'17" should it be impulse response instead of step response?

No, the step response is correct.

@@AliHajimiriChannel Thank you professor, I just realized that you have made it the step response by the transformation from h(t) to s(t).

15:17 Hello Sir, would the step response look inverted along x-axis, if H_0 was negative & H_1 was positive? Thank you for the lectures.

H_0 is negative means the system is an attenuator, not an amplifier. Yes, the step response look inverted along x-axis.
