As a horticulturalist I never thought I'd see paint transform into a bloom. My years of seeing an actual plant bloom, knowing different growth patterns, what one has seen over years. I so enjoyed this work of art you have presented to us, with your talents you literally created a bloom. It was so surreal to watch it come alive !!! Bravo !! Julie, it’s cool you’re doing some colorful summertime colors because I know it’s winter down where you are! ❤️ I’m in Texas and today was 43 degrees celsius. And there is no end in sight. May was about the same. This is August and early September temperatures for us. I had to bring all my succulents inside because they started dying. And in June.

*Julie:* "I'm TRYING not to fiddle, guys!" *Also Julie:* Adds rest of white (can't have leftover white!) and more blue ink. 😅 Am LOVING those colors, Julie! IT'S GORGEOUS!! ❤ I think that extra white you put in really made the turquoise stand out a bit. I was worried it might get lost in the green, but no! The white outer petals are sooo delicate and whispy. It really is so Spring-like. 💐 Very refreshing to look at. Here, it's miserably hot (over 100°F & heat index 106°F). 😩 Down there, it's chilly, I'm sure.

So pretty! I love the blended colors, I think that was a great idea to do that. Maybe to avoid the extra white in the middle.. just do a series of loops? Although the center didn’t blob and it’s pretty so, maybe it doesn’t matter.

I think it’s absolutely gorgeous! You shouldn’t worry about their being too much white. Because it really makes it stand out the way it does. And as for that white spot. Don’t worry about that either. Just consider it a beauty mark that was meant to be there. You are so very talented. I wish I had your gift for making beautiful flowers like that. Take it easy on yourself because you did a fantastic job! 🙂
