(15 & 16) Building a scrap buster idea book.

I apologize for not making a video yesterday. I decided to combine the projects for day 15 and day 16 into one video, because all four of the projects are quick to make. Episode 6 was “scrap
Pads”, but I really showed you how to make a Tracie Two Side (which is designed to go over the top of a journal page). Since the s rap buster idea book will include both the Tracie Two Side and a s rap pad, I showed you in this video my process for maki g a s rap pad. Also included today are: button spot, stacked pocket (I showed the three ways/samples I use and I’ll try to link the flips, flaps and folds videos where they’re shown) and concertina book (and I’ll come back in to link the Wendy Townsend video that inspired these). That's funny Cori. I screen captured your list and pinned it on my Cori board. Then I went back and added a note to each pin with the techniques you showed so I can match them up to my idea book. Keeping up with the techniques so far. Such a great reference. thanks as always for sharing.

Everything I have shared so far can either be stapled or glued or hand stitched if a machine is not at hand. There is always a way around it!

@@406annie When I taught in Texas we started the year in mid-August and I didn’t love that at all! Here in the PNW August and September generally have the warmest weather so I wouldn’t mind at all waiting until October to go back 😊 Enjoy your weekend too!

I am so loving this. I had to go back to video 15 for the button spot for the big buster ideas scrapbook. I'm laughing cuz I have to go back and forth but it's a lot of fun. I'm learning so much. I'm writing this comment as of September 23rd and I've been looking to see if you've done anything new and as far as I could see unless I'm missing something that you haven't been on since the big idea scrap buster book. I've given away all the journals that I've used them in, and I don't have videos of those journals. But, I will show you how I use them in the scrap buster idea book. They are used much like I use a scrap cluster, but generally on pages with a thicker profile (such ass the first or last page in a signature and at the front or back of a book).
