Nightmares rarely com to me and even when they do they're not that scary. I don't know if it's because all my life instead of running away from my nightmares I run towards them and face them.

Wow, how in the world did you make this sound so good? I tried using 15 AI about a month ago to have Celestia read a fan fic, but it didn't go very well. The voice talked really fast, and it sounded very robotic and unnatural and sounded like it was always whispering. The tone of voice constantly changed, too, because 15 AI has a 300 character limit. But this, somehow, sounds very natural and doesn't sound robotic. It still sounds like she whispers a lot, but the way the voice raises and lowers in pitch in this video as it talks sounds a lot like natural speech. So how did you make the voice sound so natural and un-robotic? Did you edit every single voice clip using Audacity like 15 AI says to do or did 15 AI actually generate the voice in the video with no editing with Audacity? If it's the former, what did you do in Audacity? If it's the latter, then how did you get 15 AI to generate such natural sounding speech?
Hey there, thanks for the compliments! First, when this was made there was a much higher character limit allowing for some longer lines with consistent tone which was unfortunately lowered due to abuse when 15 made the website public. With that said, a lot of the lines were also individually generated multiple times until I found something that more or less matched the tone of the other lines. I even mixed multiple versions of the same sentence together if a word or something sounded out of place or robotic. You will get generations that sound robotic, either because of certain words or something to do with how they are ordered. I'm not sure what exactly causes this but if a sentence just isn't sounding good, I would rewrite it and see if it works for something different. For some lines, I generated over 30 different versions before I found something that sounded good and flowed together nicely. This was done during an extremely limited closed beta with only about 20 other people so I didn't have to wait at all for those line generations which is a problem with the public site unfortunately. When it goes public again, you might have to just settle for good enough since so many people use it. Also very important to note but make sure to use the emotional modifier with the | command if you want to influence the model towards a certain emotion. It's not perfect but it sometimes results in exactly the emotion you want. It sometimes slows down the voice too for certain modifiers depending on the context. For the audio editing, yes I did use Audacity. 15 took the current public model down and is still working on the current model so I'm not sure how much of what I'll say next will change when he's done but there are two things that I do with it. For some of the background robotic noise I would use the Noise Reduction tool built into audacity. It might be easier to look up a video on RU-vid than me explaining it in a comment. Basically with a line generation you select some space that doesn't have any talking, if you listen to that area you can hear some hissing background noise. With that selected go to Effect > Noise reduction and press Get Noise Profile. Then select the entire clip and go back to Noise reduction again. For Step 2 my settings are Noise reduction 9, Sensitivity 10.5, Frequency smoothing 7, Noise Reduce then you can click preview to see if it improves the clip and press OK. For the second thing I do, you can change the speed of the talking by changing the tempo. If a clip is talking slightly too fast, you can select that area then go to Effect > Change Tempo and change the first slider to whatever you want. Don't use high quality stretching because for me it completely messes up whatever generations I make for some reason. For the slider, I would avoid making too much of a percent change or else it makes the clip sound weird since it introduces artifacts. I think the most I used in this video for any clip was -15 or so. I do agree though that the recent 15.ai models are talking faster than previous models. This video was made back in December during V10 which talked slower when compared to the later ones. I brought it up before to him but he didn't think it was a problem, I'll suggest it again though since you mentioned it. Hope this helps you.
@@BootleggedASMR O.K., but there's something I REALLY want to know. Yeah, sure, the | thing exists, but I can't figure out how to explicitly specify an emotion. Do you know? As far as I know, in order to specify an emotion, you have to use | and type a sentence that maps to whatever emotion you want. But I'm autistic and don't understand emotions very well, so how am I supposed to know which sentences map to which emotions? The only way to specify an emotion as far as I know is through trial and error. It would be SO much simpler if I could simply specify an emotion instead of the convoluted process of typing a sentence which corresponds to the emotion I want. I don't know which sentences correspond to which emotions, but I DO know which emotion I want, so it would be much easier if I could simply specify it. And, not only that, but using | and typing a sentence counts toward the character limit, so, specifying an emotion in its current way reduces the extremely limited character limit even more!
@@DPBOX Yeah, I'm sorry that it's hard to figure out the exact emotion from a sentence. You could try just typing the emotion directly like " | I'm angry." or "| I'm tired", I've gotten some sentences to work from just that. Unfortunately the character limit won't be changed so you just have to work around the shorter space you have to type. I believe 15 said that at some point in the future he'll see if it's possible to pick emotions from a drop-down menu but until then I can't really help you there.
😖😣 Oh how I wish I had someone like Luna to comfort me in my time of need I been dealing so much like having a semi strain relationship with my mom and her issue with being a I guess a hoarder *basically she like getting junk and doesn’t throw it out* and every time we tell to declutter the house she gets defensive and lash out getting not where in our progress. What makes it worse is when we do throw out the junk, she take it out of the trash bin hence we start calling her a trash panda 😂😒 And what’s worse being in the lock down, I been getting hostile toward her and her lifestyle and unhealthy bad habits making me resent her for the house not being clean, her living in a clutter house to the point she misplaced all her stuff and remember where she had them last, she doesn’t prioritize herself to be organized and she always is the cause of her stress

Pretty much, yeah. It’s a text-to-speech program where you type in an input and it says the lines in a characters voice. You can try it out for free at 15.ai though it’s down for maintenance right now.

Is there any specific part that sounds really robotic or would you say it’s the whole thing? I’m looking for some feedback since I’m working on another audio currently and I’d like to avoid any mistakes I made here.
@@BootleggedASMR the whole thing has parts where the speaking sounds natural. And some parts where its robotic. For eg. From 2:42-2:50. It sounded natural. Then from 2:51 ‘well .....’ that part sounded robotic. Then she says everypony has a nightmare at some point. That sounded natural. Then after that frim 2:58-3:01. That part was robotic. I have no idea how you made this and why the robotic parts sound that way Nonetheless this was pretty amazing. the script is really really amazing. Luna explaining about herself, her nightmares, then her goal to help other through it after elements of harmony. It was so creative and beautiful. i loved that. Like you added so much to lunas character from the little we saw in the series and you added story and background to those actions in the series ( The transition from being wicked to helping ponies through their nightmares like we saw )
