Thank you for the video. I own both the A7CII and A7CR so I’ve bought too many accessories already but your video very good and straight forward. I don’t shoot video so for me the full cage is not something I use but all are good recommendations. We need to see if anyone can create an eyecup that doesn’t use the hot shoe. Don’t know why Sony didn’t copy the A6700’s design. You might consider recommending a good battery charger since Sony didn’t include one for new users. I’ve got many different ones from all of my cameras so weighing in on this might help many. Take care.
I Agree with you 100% on the eye cup. I still have a A6000 and even the eye cup on that is great. Good suggestion on the charger. I’ll add that on the next video. Thank you! BTW, I’m probably going to get the A7CR eventually. How’s the 60mp on there?
Im rn saving up money for an a7c ii this fall. But I have been trying to find a eye cup that doesn't use the hotshoe. since I want to have a thumb grip at the same time.
Hi there, my favorite travel bag is the Think Tank Tumstyle Sling. Lots of pockets and comfortable to have on. If you are interested here is a link to some bags I have used and liked. kit.co/shysthelimit/camera-bags
Hi there, on the full cage I like adding the handle on the left side only, and holding the right side on the cameras grip. I do this when shooting video. I find it keeps my shots stable and I can change my settings quickly. For photos the smaller JJC rig and Small Rig are pretty similar. The small rig feels just a tad bit nicer and weighs less. Great if you have small lenses. The JJC is a bit heavier which helps with counter balance if you are using larger lenses, and nice to put the AirTag in there. So, I actually use all three for different purposes.
Great video, thanks for sharing 😊 I just bought the A7cii myself. Haven't got to try it out much yet. But that baseplate looks interesting. I got the silver a7cii, and think the Smallrig silver baseplate will look good too. I also have the peak design wrist strap, which I like very much, and the slide light which I find a little to big/cumbersome. The strap will adjust itself without opening the aluminium things, which is annoying. The thumb grip looks interesting too. What brand is that? Thanks again.
