Hi, I’m a local. This video is pretty good. I’m surprised you didnt mention the Brighton Aquarium. It’s very good but expensive. Please make clear that The Laines & North Laines are 2 different areas (although not far from each other) in the centre of the city. Great for shopping, drinking & eating. Also further away is Seven Sisters national park & the Brighton Marina, the UK’s biggest marina. I’m not sure if Preston Manor is actually open at the moment but the park next to it Preston Park is lovely, better than the park area you mentioned (which is a glorified roundabout) the social highlight of the year is Brighton Pride in early August the most famous LGBT event in the UK. It’s party time but is incredibly crowded & boisterous. If you want to party, this is party time. At the Brighton festival in May it’s easy to get tickets & some events are free. Hove which is the next door town is also worth exploring, it’s quieter than the city. Otherwise a good video. Seeing the Pavilion Palace & the Pier are the 2 must see things to do

Good comments, I used to live in Brighton in 70s while I was studying in Sussex. Brighton has changed a lot. I used to live in east street above wimpy. I have great memories of Brighton because I spent my best years of life in Brighton. I ❤ Brighton Brightonions are great people . It is like second home to me. Every time I visit England I make sure to visit Brighton even if it is a day trip.
