15 BTS songs that were sampled (#2) 

Sampling:
Taking segments of sound from a song, movie or other to make a new thing out of it. Examples of sampled songs:
• The Chi-Lites - Are You My Woman → Beyonce - Crazy In Love
• Santana - Maria Maria → Dj Khaled - Wild Thoughts
• DJ Paleface - Do You Mind → Drake One Dance
• Labi Siffre - I Got The... → Eminem - My Name Is
• Isaac Hayes - Ike's Rap II → Alessia Cara - Here
• Les Choristes - Vois Sur Ton Chemin → Christina Aguilera - Oh Mother
...
The list is very VERY long.
Sampling can be mistaken with plagiarism, the difference is that sampling is legal. Artists usually buy the music they sample to have the right to use it. I think it's a good thing, because it makes people discover a lot of forgotten songs and it's interesting to know where the artist take inspiration from.
Now with every sample I'm mentionning in this video:
• Crazy German Kid → Not Today
This one is really funny. Crazy German Kid is a meme from a viral video from 2006. It was basically a german kid who was screaming out of frustration when he was attempting to play Unreal Tournament 2004 on his computer. The video became a meme when people on youtube started making fake subs. It was really unlikely that BTS would sample something like this right ? :')
The video was also sampled by Skrillex in My Name Is Skrillex.
• Get Ur Freak On → Mic Drop
When I first listened to Mic Drop, it reminded me of this Missy Elliott song, so I came back and listened to Get Ur Freak On and it happened that the beat is sampled. I loved that they sampled this amazing song. Get Ur Freak On is amazing.
ILoveYourAunt by A$AP Ferg also uses a sample of Get Ur Freak On.
• El Chapo → 1Verse
Remember the time when 1Verse was released and we couldn't wait for the hixtape ? Well now we have it. 1Verse was sampled from El Chapo which is the title track of the 11th album of the rapper The Game, featuring Skrillex. El Chapo uses a sample of Manuel Penella - El Gato Montés, at the begining.
• The Last Bullet → The Last
I didn't watch The Man From Nowhere, but I'm planning to. The Last is an amazing song, the lyrics are really touching. • Aerosol Can → Do You
Ah, Do You. I've been honestly obsessed with this song lately. This is one of the well known samples from RM. The lyrics he added are amazing, and I'm glad he sampled a beat like this.
• It's A Man's Man's Man's World → Agust D
It's A Man's Man's Man's World is one of my favorite 60's song, but I've just noticed lately that Agust D uses a sample of it. Yoongi did very well with this.
• Frantic → N.O
I'm just gonna say that Old Boy is an amazing movie, and N.O is an amazing song.
• Here We Go → War Of Hormone
Yes, the tiny "Ah yeah" is sampled. And this song is lejindary (okay sorry), it has been sampled in 500+ songs, including War Of Hormone.
• Deadroses → Dead Leaves
The infamous Deadroses. The fanwars source. Yes, EXO sampled it too, and this is where fanwars started. People started saying EXO plagiarized, BTS copied, but the truth is that both songs are sampled from Blackbear - Deadroses. Dead Leaves is my favorite BTS song, They Never Know and Deadroses are amazing too. Now stop fanwars :))))))
• Drinking Coffee → Coffee
The chorus is the same, I love both songs, but please appreciate Urban Zakapa more they're amazing. That's all I had to say :')
• Born Sinner → Born Singer
Thank you J.Cole for creating the song that made us all cry. No in all honesty, once again, both songs are great and I'm once again happy they sampled such a good song.
• Am I Wrong ? → Am I Wrong ? (lol)
Don't get me started on saying the same thing over and over.
• La Vida Breve → Lie
This one is actually an intepolation. I've already explained what is an interpolation, but I'll do it again: An interpolation is like a remake. It's mainly used to avoid copyright issues. BTS using classical music in their songs is amazing.
• Strangers → Cypher pt. 4
Ah, this one is complicated. Here is the story:
Two producers, Spanker and Tricky Stewart were two producers worked on this beat together. In 2015, Spanker released a first version of the track on SFB. A year later, Tricky Stewart who wasn't aware of that worked with BTS on Cypher pt. 4. Before he could've do something, Wings was released. He apologized since then ( / 786076657681571841 . So it's a sampled that the producer himself didn't know was a sample ?
