15th étape of the Camino Francés from Castrojeriz to Frómista.
All étapes/videos to Santiago de Compostela are going to be uploaded over the next days and weeks.
After many journeys on the Camino de Santiago in the past ten years, this time the focus lies on the video project. Thus not a lot of stopping and exploring during the étapes (some breaks and encounters are cut out).
COVID-19: Filmed in the summer of 2020 when Spain and the Camino including most albergues were open again for a few weeks after the first lockdown. Masks in all albergues, bars/restaurants and when crossing cities. There will likely never again be as few people on the Camino as in summer of 2020.
Hope you enjoy the video. Thank you so much for watching and maybe see you on the Camino one day :-)
BUEN CAMINO!
Music (on some occasions the tracks may be altered/cut a bit):
Broken Song - R.A.Y. Project
Off the Ground - Russo
West Bound - Daniel Robinson
Sunset Drive - Evert Z

A lot of pilgrims don't like the Meseta. I loved it, the wide open expanse from horizon to horizon. Such a beautiful walk......

The Meseta reminds me of Alberta.

In those green fields, like along the canal, what do the crops yield? If I ever walk the Camino, I would be interested in learning about the agriculture.

When once walking the Francés in autumn (my favourite) I saw many enormous fields of sun flowers. Maybe it`s that(?)

I slept in San Nicolas de Puente Fitero but don't remember the piece between the bridge and the canal at all
