Or Halloween and its relation to Stanley Stiers, a guy who at the age of 11 murdered his sister, parents, bullies from school, one of the bullies families, and many more people after he escaped 13 years later from the penitentiary they kept him at to study him, including Federal officers before, during, and after taking several gunshots in 1936
Quick Correction, Benchley has actually been quoted as saying the main inspiration for "Jaws" Comes from the infamous "Summer of the Shark" Jersey Shore Shark attacks of 1916.
+Pixel_albert he's apparently cursed and if you make fun of him or take his picture without his permission bad things happen to you until you write an apology letter they litterally have thousamds of apology letters there
you're right, it isn't jelly. it's actually common frog slime. magpies eat frogs but when they eat pregnant female frogs, the jelly they use for covering their babies spills out as well
***** i don't think he was saying that no one is considered a "weeaboo". He was saying in that sentence "i'm very weeaboo" it wouldn't make sense grammatically.
I'm actually from Texarkana and grew up hearing about this serial killer. From what I remember Spring Lake Park is where the murders happened. Creepy right but it gets a bit weirder b/c my sister and many other kids took swim lessons in that park. I always wondered if the man or woman still lives in Texarkana or around the park area and just watch people. He could have been a neighbor or mailman or even the nice Oldman that has grandchildren now. F'd up ish right! I heard that they were going to make a remake of the movie and wanted to use downtown Texarkana for some of the scenes but it could've been a rumor.
+Rusty Kuntz this is very true, the lutz made everything up... proof when they said the windows got blown out they proved the wood work of the said windows has never been altered. they are consistent with the rest of the trim of the house. they knew good and well what house they bought and wanted to make a buck. now their son was trying to do a second generation revival of the story but it failed. these people were scum.
My dad was born Marth 24th, 1946 in Texarkana. My brother and I used to hack on him saying his dad must have gone nuts the night he was born and went on a rampage. Luckily, it was just a coincidence, but you can imagine how freaked out they were that night sitting in the hospital with a madman on the loose in their area.
As a native Texan, many people have come to me from out of state to ask me if the Texas Chainsaw Massacre was indeed real. I told them no it was based off of the real lestherface Ed Gein. As a kid I grew up fearing that the TCM was real but later found out it wasn't real lol
Ed Gein actually only killed two people, most of his artefacts came from grave robbing. But the whole skin suit thing also inspired Buffalo Bill from Silence of the Lambs. *The more you know*
Me to my mom actually wanted to show me him and I got EXTREMELY scared. But the fun part was they took him so I cant punch and kick him. Good thing I take karate class...hehe ;)
Totally agree about "The Town That Dreaded Sundown" totally underrated. Definitely one of the better slashers made more recently, and definitely scarier knowing its based on true events. Love ur countdowns man.
Why the hell do I watch the creepiest stuff at night?! Why don't I watch it in the bright daylight when I'm not going to have it play in my mind all night long
so, my 18 year old sister died in her sleep a few months ago. a few nights before her death, she told me that she has weird dreams every night, in the dream she says there's a demonic creature in her room while she lays on her bed and that it gets closer every night. she proceeded to tell me that the previous night. the demon was on top of her and was trying to strangle her. the next couple of nights she said she hasn't had the dream for the couple of nights. i was still worried and we told our parents, but our parents didn't believe us. that next night i slept at a friends house. the next morning i came home to the unfortunate news that my sister died in her sleep. the autopsy reported that she was somehow strangled to death, and i believe a sleep demon killed her.
+SolarW0lf There was this black kid who was a bit overweight and some dude whispered "Cory in the House" to me and I burst out laughing, this reminded me and I burst out laughing again.
Anybody wants to know the films in order of 15-1 Hard candy The exorcist Childs play 240 degrees F I spit on your grave The town that dreaded sundown Snow town Henry: portrait on a serial killer A nightmare on elm street The blob The girl next door Wolf creak/creep Texas chainsaw massacre Jaws Psycho
Ohhhh, so Texas Chainsaw Massacre was true story, but without a killer carrying a chainsaw and cuts his victims face and wearing them as masks? Bummer.
Yea he wasn't a chainsaw wielding maniac. He shot two people, robbed graves for skin and bone, and did disturbing things with that skin and bone. He made a suit out of it, gloves, masks, furniture, eating utensils, etc.
Fun story! My mum's friend sat next to Ivan in prison! All he had to say was "well they found these ones but they'll never know just how many there are" this freaked out my mum's friend who then requested to move
They always pronounce Ed Geins name wrong. You would think as many times as we've all pointed it out they would actually make an effort to correct themselves. Love Planet Dolan videos but wish they would research the pronunciation of the words they use with the same diligence as they so the research & facts they give us.
My grandma was the only one alive with my grandpa and uncle. I thank my grandma and uncle for helping me on this hard and cruel life. I want to still visit my country, Cambodia, and hope to not be murdered by...them.
the girl next door is literally written about true events - not based on or inspired by - Jack Catchum (I believe) wrote the true crime novel about a mentally disturbed, slightly alcoholic women (Ruth . .I believe) who adopted two girls and ultimately deprived and tortured them with neighborhood kids until one of the girls succumbed to here wounds and died. It is brutal, vicious, and disturbing.
Just a note, Ivan Milat did not conduct his murders in the outback, he did them in Balenglo State forest which is south west of Sydney. Some of the victims were abducted in Sydney before being taken to the forest and murdered.

I only lived a few miles for where the actual Texas chainsaw massacre happened. I first saw the movie when I was twelve. I had problems after the night I saw that movie. this is the definition of childhood trauma.
Snowtown is a story known buy all aussies, i drove through it on my way to my holiday in the outback, really small town and a little creepy when you think about what happened there
