Neuv is the first five star I’m pulling exclusively for cons. I love how self-sufficient he is as an on field, selfish DPS. All teammates exist to bolster his vision of justice.
yup pulled on his initial banner and hes one of my most used unite with Jean and Furina watching everything melt with Nuvilates 40k+ blasts is just fun
I put my whole heart and soul into building Ayaka. I have multiple constellations, her signature weapon; I triple crown her; she has my very best artifacts. I even got Shenhe just for her. When I got Neuvillette, he almost immediately became my most powerful character. I did look into his signature weapon, but that was before I got Furina. He's unstoppable. And I hear a lot of people talking about how you need his first constellation, but that just hasn't been my experience. I don't think I'm very good at this game, which I'm embarrassed to say. I only recently started getting 36 stars in the abyss, and that a lot of that has to do and a lot of that has to do with him. It's true I get interrupted sometimes and lose a usage or two of his laser, and that sucks, but I don't think he needs a shielder or a constellation.
his weapon is worth it even if you don't have him. it's also yanfei's BIS and it absolutely kicks ass on her. it's also good on literally any dps catalyst.
Man fr same, I've invested in ayaka and shenhe, even got both their signatures, but as time goes by, the enemies become much stronger. Cant clear abyss anymore,
I am very early wow, personally I'm going for the rerun because of how convenient he is (easily used as an exploration dps), and how strong he gets when properly invested into
Kazuha was my first 5 star a couple of years ago when he first came out. IMO, he remains the single most valuable unit in the game. There are a few other must-haves out there for other reasons, but you will never go wrong with Kazuha.
I am honest, I am not someone who goes all in for certain characters. Which is why I am playing Neuvillete with Proto Amber in a team with Furina and Jean (with a flex slot that was taken by Navia lately) and he does like 40k-50k per hit (he can actually get all stacks in some cases, if the enemy uses an element on themselves or on you and Jean swirls the element and creating another hydro reaction). Point being, I have never felt I need his C1 or signature weapon. He already clears abyss quite fast.
I think the C1 gives you more flexibility and freedom in charged attack if you havent got a shield in your party right now, so its not completely bait. The difference between C1 and his weapon is that C1 gives you no plus dmg and weapon gives +30dmg. And in terms of wishes spent thats if hard pity: 90+ (90 (lose 50/50)) = 90/180 and weapon thats more trouble if you lose all 50/50 and thats around 80+80+80 = 240 wishes. So yeah those are my thoughts, depends on luck and your taste 😁
And fast forward 6 months... now the weapon banner is 1 Fate point... but still you're fighting bad odds eith weapon than c1... and c1 does have slight damage increase AND its more comfy.. you can play double hydro (furina) and no shield. I'd say c1 still worth more than weapon (My opinio BUT WEAPON INCREASES DAMAGE BY LIKE 28% COMPARED TO PROTOTYPE AMBER (plus drip🤭👀)
Personally neuvi only needs a decent marcheusse hunter set and prototype amber, c1 is more important rather than the weapon since prototype amber kinda helps with his energy well enough, c1 also makes you able to use furina without downside for his passive
I honestly have only used him in one abyss cycle since getting him so I stick to my advice: Pull for unit's you love not units you THINK you need (I pulled him because he's pretty)
i strongly disagree with that advice. i'd say never pull for looks. you need to find a balance between something that's fun to use and powerful enough to field all the time and not be liability. well at least if you're anything like me or the people in my genshin discord group. if the unit isn't good, it gets benched and forgotten in a month or two at best never to be touched again. but then again, people play this game very differently, so "you do you" is the best advice, really.
@@GraveUypo And the opposite can be said as well. I pulled Raiden at an early AR on my account because "she's the best unit in the game" at the time. I benched her almost immediately because I ended up not liking her. I skipped Nahida because she's clunky on controller. Alhaithaim because I have a visceral dislike of his character and think his shoes look silly. I literally 36 stared this last cycle with starter units (and I'm a skill issue player too boot). And the units I pulled because I like to look at them? No regrets.90% of this game is just running around in the over world and any unit can do that with proper investment (I literally play Amber most of the time and I have 61 fully built units to pick from). You really don't need to pull a single "meta" unit in this game and be able to clear all the content. And if you do you eventually run out of a need for more "meta" units. I have a second account That has 9 random 5 star units, I can still clear all the content with that mish mash of characters. Your advice is better suited for HI3 or Star rail.
@@kamicokrolock oh, we kinda benched a lot of the same characters, just for different reasons. don't get me wrong, i hate raiden as a character, but i benched her because she is absolutely underwhelming at c0 without her weapon. I got her and let her rot on my second account for almost 2 years. i tried to make her work but the only party she did anything useful at was rational, and i HATEEEEEEEEEE xiangling parties. all of them. and being a decent 4th slot in that party doesn't mean anything. any character is decent at that position, even timmy with a favonius yoyo or something would be 90% as good. At her re-run in fountaine, i decided to try to get her cons. got her to c2, farmed some more artifacts for her (still farming and still haven't got a single usable ER sands, really), and now i actually really enjoy her because chevreuse made her much smoother to play and now mine's actually living up to the goddamn hype by randoms (she's doing ~380k damage on her burst slash) alhaitham... same story. he is definitely not as strong as he is hyped up to be, at least not without cons and his weapon (i use him with a mystsplitter). at first i kinda liked using him, but he was never anywhere near my top performing parties and was mostly a "for fun" character. he fell off, now he's on the weaker side in my account, and i just dropped him entirely. i don't have a good enough dendro environment on my main account to use this character properly. he'd be way more valuable on my second account :( i also do not like him as a character, but nowhere near to the level i despise raiden. i like nahida. i even pulled her c2 on my second account. and she is THE dendro unit to have. my second account mains dendro / electro so she was a no brainer and a ultra valuable unit... most of the time. she is terrible against multi-wave stuff like you get in events. anyway, i just regret the cons. they're... not as good as i thought. nowhere near that. only worth it if you're like a keqing or nilou main or something. She plays fine on controller imo. controller would be better if you could crank sensitivity up twice has high as the maximum that this game allows, but even with the bad max we get she is still plenty playable. maybe try increasing it from the glacial-slow 3 default sensitivity to 5, it gets a lot more usable. but then you get characters like baizhu. his simps made him sound so valuable that i fell for it. what a goddamn useless character. i hate him so much. surpassed my eula as the biggest regret in my main account (got her for the same reason, my first 5 star regret). at least eula can be fun for challenges, he is just a goddamn meme.
I main him on my f2p secondary account and he's C1 because I got lucky trying to get more Fischl cons. I'm going to try to get his weapon to take him even higher, wish me a lot of luck! I also have a guaranteed on my main account since the Nahida/Xianyun banner and I've been saving it to get him home on that account as well, although he's staying C0R5 pamber since Arlecchino's coming afterwards
You know who I use Neuvillette with? Childe. Yes. I have Furina yet I can't be bothered to swap to her so I just use Childe as a permanent CA buffer for Neuvillette.
i don't use him with furina because him without furina is 95% as good at c0. my furina is c2 and i still consider him one of the worst viable furina users. he's better off leaving her to someone who gets a bigger benefit from her buff. and to be honest furina is my noelle's slave, everyone else gets lower priority.
Tbh, I don’t think Neuvillette and Wriothesley’s C1 constellations are bait. Both of them are best in solo-ing abyss, the toughest content in the game. So investing a bit for their 1st constellation for more easy clears are not ‘bait’ imo.
@@GraveUypo Well maybe you play on below 100 ms ping. I play on 300+ ms ping. Switching characters takes around 2-3 seconds. So for me if a character can solo abyss with a little bit of investment, they are not ‘bait’.
Neuvi was my 2nd on-field DPS (first was Alhaitham), and one of the few characters I've considered pulling cons for and I DO want his C1, but at this point, since I'm still trying to get new characters and build team variety, I'll be aiming for Kazuha first this time around.
I got 36 star this Abyss cycle with Nilou Bloom team on the top half. However, there is a kink which is chamber 2. There are 2 Dendro immune mobs in the first group that can only be damaged by Hydro from Nilou team. And since I don't have Neuvillette yet, I had to rely on Xingqiu/Yelan to DPS them down. With Neuvillette in the driver seat, the Abyss will be a cakewalk.
ah. i was sad that i only managed 40 seconds with my noelle and itto in that chamber, i didn't even bother to record a video because i thought htat was slow (even though my neuvi takes like 45 secs). glad to see your neuvi is doing even worse without the spin exploit
While the gap between Neuvillete weapon and prototype ambr is big prototype Neuvi allow him to become the team sustain for the whole team. which I prefer more than just dealing big damage
Weapon at R5 gives 90% charge attack bonus after 1 second in combat + 32% hp. So it scales pretty good, the pity on weapon banner is 65, so if you get lucky and get some, scales pretty good.
hes such a good f2p character. and can ez beat abyss or anything else. i play him withe the event weapon Ballad of the boundless blue and he can deal 40k attacks on lv 80. cause of no c1 layla is his best teammate. shield is strong and the burst as cheap, plus for freezing the enemies its even easier to not get hit.
i got neuvi on his first run, only c0 snd spent the last of my fates getting his weapon, he has been so much fun to play i liked him so much i tripple crowned him and am farming for perfect artifacts , i skipped 2 banners to save for the re-run and now hes a c2 hopefully c3 by the end ofthe run. good luck to any neuvi wanters out there i hope your hydro dragon comes home.
the fact that i got both of them losing 1 50/50 to dehya, and got c1 neuvillette and under 100 wishes its still crazy to me,, and i recently got furina, it was bound to happen.
It feels good to have neuvi at c2 and a good prior investment i did for pulling kazoom just got kazoo his EM weapon for losing 50/50. Anyways wish you luck future gambler for winning your 50/50
I mean if anyone is like me who really does not care about abyss that much neuvi is pretty chill in any teams but yes if you can save, try and get C1 of him it would be cool.
If you think C1 Neuv is a bait, look at Acheron over on HSR. Her kit also resticticts your teams in similar ways, but you need her E2 to remove it. That PLUS her weapon is more of a bait too, with few F2P options... 😬
Hmm Arlecchino when I have Hutao and Yoimiya, Neuvilette just for Hydro cannon but I'm burned out from building units or Kazuha con to get him to one step closer to c2. Decisions, decisions.

My C0 Nuev is currently at 71/310 Crit Ratio, im planning to pull his weapon this time and hoping to get his C1 too. I dont care about Arle since im still enjoying my 300k/plunge C6 Gaming 😘👌 Update: C1 and Lost to weapon banner 💀

Neuvillette is the reason why I can 36* the abyss! I literally only use Furina and Neuvillette in the other team and they can obliterate all the enemies that are not immune to hydro!!
I won neuvi's 50. I had lvl 90 amber for him. I had lvl 90 widsith for him. I looked at my weapon banner pitty... 68. I pulled... after spending a total of 24 wishes, I pulled neuvi and his signature... yesterday was a good day :)
I was actually annoyed by his potential at C0 in the same way I was with Hu Tao's C0. His C1 is a major QoL upgrade. On the last day of his banner I managed to get his C1 and weapon and now he's by far my best unit and favorite character to play. I could get his C2 on the rerun and make him become a real menace but I'll save for Arlecchino and her weapon as well.
Honestly if Arlecchino wasn't in the next patch I'd have planned to go for maybe more Neuvi c2 or more after trying for his weapon again. He's so strong compared to my other characters that it feels like something if off about my build
If you dont have Kazuha, pull Kazuha first then if you don't have Furina wait for the next banner announcement first and if she's not on it then definitely pull Neuvilette
Should I pull kazuha when I want wanderer? My 2 dps characters would end up being wanderer and raiden who I have c6 chevreuse for so I think he wouldn't be of much use since I have limited primos for wanderer who I want really badly
I have both Kazuha and Wanderer. Wanderer is amazing for map exploration. He is a good DPS as well. I use him almost all the time for exploration. Kazuha is an amazing support and can shred resistances. He makes the game more fun, in my opinion. He also makes certain things like dealing with multiple abyss mages a lot easier. If you need another DPS and you really want wanderer, then save. Kazuha will come back sooner or later anyway. Go with the characters you like and want to play. Good luck!
please remember - characters you love are gonna stay valuable forever!! there are lots of good supports, but not many u might love. wanderer prob wont get a rerun in so long, i would say kazuha will get it before him since hes more popular. so i would say go wanderer
Pull for Neuvilette C1 for sure, the real question for me is who I’m gonna go after??? Kazuha, Arlecchino or Furina… Cause I will probably will have enough primos for one of the three, but I will probably go with Furina since Arlecchino she will have a Rerun anyway by winter and Kazuha can be replace by Sucrose if I’m gonna be honest. Damn Arlecchino in her rerun she’s gonna be in the same situation like now, she will have good units banner near her schedule again with Colombina and the Fire Archon probably 😂😂😂
my neuvillete always team up with dehya and baizhu, another character are flexibble between furina or fischl,,,, because in current abyss i'm also use furina team up with xiao.
Not pulling for Neuv even though I like his design. 1. His kit will force me to remap my controller and I don’t want that. 2. I need to save for Furina since I don’t have her yet. Maybe I’ll get him on the next rerun whenever that is.
With neuvi you can use L2(Left trigger) to use the charge attack, same as when you're using a aimed attack with a bow user so you might not have to remap your controller

If you have Furina or not matters though, but come on, who in the world would not pull for her if they don't already have her. Even if you have shielder C1 is better, just kick the shielder out of the team and put Furina/C2 Barbara/Yelan
@@draculaisme I would rather put Furina on my other team to boost their Dps and C2 barbara not even worth it nor Yelan/Xingqui since you need to Basic Attack not Charge Attack for it to work. u can even pull for Kazuha to boost Neuvi Dmg if you have a Shielder already.
@@draculaisme Like I said it depends, here's the shortest Answer if you have a Guaranteed to get his Sig Weapon then you can choose between his C1 or Weapon if you don't have a Guaranteed then just get his C1 OR get Kazuha too if u already have shielder its better if u have Zhongli.
@@ziancarvenreynoso9191 It just depends on what you want really. My 2nd team is hyperbloom/Raiden national, I don't need to take Furina from the 1st team. It is just his c1 is overall better value, if have Furina or will pull for her, other things don't matter. BTW Yelan buffs him a lot so you don't even need her ult attacks just buff from it. C2 Barbara is just placeholder, still better than shielder (if you have his c1).

I was doing random single pulls and got neuvilette by accident but i’m so glad it happened. I don’t really care about building my characters to be insane and they do okay in the game but when i got him and gave him a decent build with prototype amber, i was really impressed and i feel like he took my account to a new level
He is worth it…. My Neuvillette is C2R1 and I plan to C6. Have Kazuha on my Neuvillette team now…The hydro Dragon is pretty easy to build and play. Has good ftp options weapon and is self sustaining….
heh started with 200 wish and 60 pity hit hard pity and got early c1, won both 50/50 then went for the weapon lost both 50/50s and now am trying to get the weapon with 68 pity and no wishes:(
