For the last reference it might be a reference to Object Overload where the host Gamey was stuck in a forest before they got revived, kinda like how Golf Ball was stuck in the Yoyleland Forest before she was teleported to the challenge. It also matches with the canonical time, since BFDIA 9 probably takes place in early 2014, and Object Overload's first episode came out in April of 2013

Before BFDIA 6, BFDIA was probably the second worst season of BFDI (IDFB being the worst cuz it only has 1 episode) and with all these amazing episodes that feel higher quality than TPOT, BFDIA might become my favorite season of BFDI.

However obviously BFDIA 9 was made a bit before then canonically, so this would kinda be a rift in the spacetime continuum if we assume sound effects are semicanonical Here's my estimate of every BFDIA episodes' canonical release dates if anyone's interested BFDIA 6 - September 1st, 2013 BFDIA 7 - September 20th, 2013 ["Welcome to day 20 of our video diary!"] BFDIA 8 - December 1st, 2013 BFDIA 9 - January 29th, 2014 ["It's day 60 of...". Of course, Coiny's estimate of the date could be innacurate since he's not on earth] Gelatin says Needle glued those headphones onto him 4 months ago, so that's why BFDIA 8 is on December 1st However another rift in the spacetime already happened in BFDIA 8. One of the RCs in the episode was Lesbian Teardrop, and used a modern iteration of the flag. The issue there is that that specific version of the flag only came into existence in 2018

Not going to lie, I always thought Tennis Ball's upside down mouth was a reference to Inanimate Insanity. Also, when Gelatin said that Tennis Ball was the best inventor ever which made Tennis Ball get crushed, the face Tennis Ball made right before getting crushed was the exact same one that Baseball had in Inanimate Insanity season 2! Oh, and this might just be a thing that I thought was a reference but no one else thought, but when yellow face was called a bigot, I thought that was a last minute reference put in from the new song Facts that a lot of people in the BFDI community hate. It could've also been used broadly since yellow face is legit racist towards purple face and how new language is now used but idk. Great video! I didn't even think of most of the references in the video! :D

Theres a lot more on the wheel for bomby's prize options like the "paperclip" which is prob a reference to marker's paprr clip, donuts corpse which was already a prize before, this might be a stretch but the recurse might be a reference to the cursed yellow face skull and the youle berry pie references yoyle stuff, the a lot of money prize which may connect to the lottery lewis won, goose, gooes. Bomby speaker box reference to the other speaker boxes. This one is REALLY a stretch but the prize for another arm might be a reference to puffball's prize, The yo yo yo, is a reference to how they put yo infornt of a lot of thisngs but the yo yo yo put the yo at the end, and thats all but theres definetly more on the wheel these are just what i found
