You're right! The very first time I tried. I invited $1000 and after a week, I receive $10,000, that really helped us a lot to pay up our bills.

#15 movies no longer feels the same now that my kids have grown and are living overseas. It used to be the best moments of my entire life, watching the curiosity in their eyes. The excitement and anticipation... Then watching the level of understanding and criticism they've developed throughout the years... I'm so proud of them. It hits really hard whenever I am watching a movie that I know they would've enjoyed...

Who stops you from making your own mistakes? I wish I was stopped from the many stupid, terrible, mistakes I insisted upon making. Some that changed my life forever. When I was young I esp thought I knew everything.

Your comment sounds like a mistake so it seems you achieved your freedom. You have that freedom and it’s a dark one. True freedom is the freedom to achieve your successes.

I did do it all; all alone. Yeah it's darn hard but I've almost made it ...sure the world was my teacher and also alux but physically I was and am alone since I started on my trading career path....so when I finally achieve my goals soon, I'll let you know so that you can make a case study if you wish 😅

#9 I love acting, roleplaying, and theatre plays... Movies like Whiplash, Birdman, Coffee Society, and The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar are masterpieces to me... Most of my closed friends know nothing about that because, well, that's not their cup of tea. I'll never give up on that!

The video titled "15 Decisions You'll Regret 20 Years From Now" provides insights into crucial life decisions that may lead to regrets in the future. The speaker emphasizes the importance of avoiding complacency, settling for current circumstances, and making choices without considering long-term consequences. Here's a comprehensive summary of the key concepts: **Introduction:** The video begins by acknowledging the challenge of predicting future regrets and emphasizes the significance of making informed decisions in the present. **1. Settling for What You Have:** The speaker discusses life satisfaction inflation, highlighting that what satisfies you now may not be sufficient in the future due to evolving responsibilities and demands. Settling for the status quo might result in stagnation, akin to the speaker's metaphorical representation of parents who stopped progressing after their children left for college. **2. Doing Something Without Passion:** The video addresses the dilemma of pursuing a career solely for financial reasons, emphasizing the potential dissatisfaction and loss of creativity that can arise when one lacks passion for their work. The speaker suggests that a point comes, typically around the ages of 30 to 40, where the dissatisfaction becomes apparent, and a decision to either persist or make a significant change must be made. **3. Following Well-Intentioned Advice:** The importance of discerning advice is discussed, cautioning against blindly following guidance from those with good intentions but potentially irrelevant or mismatched experiences. The speaker encourages individuals to recognize their unique tolerance levels and the value of personal experience in shaping one's path. **4. Not Investing When Capital is Available:** The speaker advocates for wise financial decisions, emphasizing the importance of investing when one has the capital. Investing is presented as a means of creating a financial safety net, fostering patience, and providing a valuable skill set. **5. Lack of Continuous Education:** The video underscores the necessity of continuous learning beyond the early twenties, cautioning against becoming stuck in outdated mindsets. A metaphorical version comparison highlights the importance of adapting to the ever-changing world to avoid stagnation. **6. Being in an Unfavorable Situation:** Both physical and emotional aspects are considered in this point, emphasizing the need for proactive change rather than resigning to a suboptimal situation. The speaker challenges the notion that circumstances are inherently fixed, emphasizing individual agency in making life changes. **7. Dealing with Problems Independently:** The speaker discourages handling personal challenges alone, comparing it to fixing electrical wiring without professional help. The importance of seeking external support and leveraging collective human wisdom to address issues is stressed. **8. Playing a Side Character in Your Own Life:** The video encourages authenticity and self-discovery, warning against hiding one's true personality to conform to societal expectations. The speaker predicts a future where authenticity becomes increasingly rare in a world filled with copies. **9. Giving Up on Personal Interests:** Individuality and personal interests are championed, with the speaker urging against sacrificing unique hobbies or passions to fit societal norms. The potential loss of personal brightness and uniqueness is highlighted when individuals succumb to external pressures. **10. Sacrificing the Wrong Things:** The video introduces the concept of life as a series of trade-offs, cautioning against sacrificing crucial elements like personal time, health, relationships, peace of mind, and core values for short-term gains. **11. Chasing Someone Else's Dream:** The speaker warns against pursuing dreams influenced by external factors, urging individuals to ensure that their aspirations align with their authentic desires rather than societal expectations or familial influence. **12. Quitting Too Soon:** The importance of enduring initial hardships and not giving in to the temptation of quitting when progress seems slow is emphasized. The speaker positions this phase as vital for mastery and skill development. **13. Quitting Too Late:** Quitting too late is cautioned against, as it may result in missed opportunities and lingering regret. The speaker emphasizes the need for discernment in recognizing when to make strategic course corrections. **14. Choosing Convenience Over Quality:** The speaker discusses the trade-off between convenience and quality, cautioning against downgrading for convenience instead of paying for a higher quality of life. The example of meal planning and nutrition is used to illustrate this point. **15. Doing Everything Alone:** The importance of shared experiences and relationships is highlighted, with the speaker encouraging a life that is meant to be shared. Memories of happy moments typically involve others, reinforcing the idea that a solitary existence may lead to future regrets. **Bonus: Pursuing a Watered-Down Dream:** The video concludes with a bonus point emphasizing that dreaming big requires the same effort as dreaming small. The speaker encourages viewers to pursue ambitious dreams rather than settling for a scaled-down version, citing the similar effort required. **Conclusion:** The video provides a comprehensive overview of 15 decisions that may lead to regrets in the future, covering various aspects of life, including career choices, financial decisions, personal development, and relationships. The summary encapsulates the video's main points; however, for a detailed understanding, watch the entire video.

To what age range does this video refer? Calling your current job quit and starting over might be possible if you're 30. But it's not the best idea if your're 60. You might well be in a place where you find that you're doing well, but still not like your job. However, if you're on the road to retirement, leaving and starting all over is only a good idea, if you're planning to work for another 10+ years. Everything else is just wasted time and money.

Solid points on the long-term impact of today's decisions. On the topic of not investing when you have the capital, it's crucial to understand the power of compound interest and start as early as possible, even if it's with a small amount; the growth over time can be staggering.

#9 really hit home with me since my father passed away. I had the tendency to avoid doing things I wanted to do when I would ask my friends if they wanted to join me and they would not reciprocate that when I would invest more time in their activities. After my father passed, I asked my friends if they wanted to join and they would not show interest and I would go by myself. And now I don’t even ask my friends nor talk them that much anymore and go and do my thing myself. One of the best feelings I have had so far.

Doing something you have no passion for, is a thing we here in Ghana can hardly escape. It would be financial suicide to do so. It is a retrogressive society here. Imagine trained nurses not getting work/posting! I was never the case in the past.
