Anyone who has worked at a New Car Dealer knows a representative from the factory visits once a month. At a General Motors dealer where I was the Service Manager in the 90's, we had an engineer from Chevrolet meet our "Rep" on his day to visit us. The engineer drove himself separately because he drove a Hydrogen Powered Chevy Equinox. Due to strict secrecy, we could not open the hood, but we were given rides in it. The nearest way I can explain the sound was it was like a washing machine set on spin. It was virtually silent, with only water vapor as exhaust. The technology has been around for at LEAST 30 years. What is the hold-up??? I think it's " BIG OIL"! What do you think?

Here in Longview, TX, there is a company making "Spotter" trucks that are 100% powered by hydrogen. These are the trucks used on shipping docks to move cargo from ships to dock storage facilities. They have other applications too in food and mail delivery and more. They are large trucks, like today's semi's and must haul heavy loads yet they do the job well.

If you look back in the last 150 years so much technology was created that is incredible!

The author of this has ZERO clue. All they've done is looked at what someone said wad good, in this case big oil. Carbon capture uses mote energy and only captures a small amount of energy. Similarly costs huge amount to run. This is greeenwashing at its finest. They pretend to do something green even though it'd not cost effective. However their main aim is to use the compressed gas from this, sqirt it into the ground and it gets out thr last amount pf pil they can't reach. Studies show a similar one only negated carbon from a few hundred cars. However take this money and plant trees and they would reduce carbon amount by 10 years, and be cheaper

Oh, an extreme minority of innovators are advancing technologies, "to better our lives." The vast majority invent shit to sell to us. It's about making money, not bettering lives! If necessity is the mother of invention, would boredom be the father? Or perhaps spite might be the niece?

Initially, if my will is to be followed, I won't allow such building developments unless the place is sustainable in terms of agriculture and organic or semi-organic (not cultured in laboratories) food production, because such developments means more people coming in to the place to experience such advancements, along with it is the potential scarcity of food and other basic human needs. Think about it, if you really force such infrastructure, only a number of wealthy people could benefit from it, a larger scope of our population wouldn't, which means poverty will be more rampant, and these poor population would only be more uncontrollable just to sustain their hunger, even going against the authorities to exercise their right to live.

The cultured meat market should be used for mince that people use for chili con carne, spaghetti bologneuse, tacos etc. It would be the easiest product to make and everybody eats it. That is how you reduce farm meat. The next problem is the veal foetal serum that they use. If they can’t find a substitute for it then it will never happen as they need tons of it to make just a small amount of meat.

H2 is not viable because it has low energy density, high cost to make, and requires extreme pressure to store. Using electricity to make H2 would be silly.

Cultured meat takes to long and costs to much energy. While vegetarion meat replasers have become so good that meat eaters cant tell the difference. The floating farm had several negative results. Life underneath the floating farm suffered by a lack of light and chemicals that fount their way in to the water. Direct Air Capture costs to mutsh energy. and its cheaper faster and energy-efficient to simply use trees. H2 batteries are not efficient enough nor will they ever be. the whole h2 proses loses so much energy vs any other type of battery its just foolish to use it. and there are already many ev trucks, boats, ships and even airplanes. traveling by air isnt energy efficient either by the way. and "its a matter of time" has been said sins the early 1960's its a fossil fuel industry lie.
