I am a beginner , so I tried to join English classes but the course costs an arm and a leg that's why I gone to my friend's home because he is very fluent in English and I tried to ask how can I improve but after some time he let the cat out of the bag about his English and told about this channel. Hi Maddy, I follow you from Italy, your lessons are very interesting, helpful and enjoyable, I really appreciate you. because your teaching is so funny and clear, it's a piece of cake 🍰 Some American idioms are similar to ours, instead of " cost an arm and a leg", we say "costa un occhio della testa" (It costs an eye of the head) even "speak of the devil" we use it when in the current conversation we are talking about someone and he/she appears, we say "quando si parla del diavolo" ( when you talking about to devil) 😈
