Fact #7 has a bit missing. It's true that as the divisor approaches 0, the answer approaches infinity. However, if we did this on the negative side, where say, we divided by -1, and approached 0 from there, the answer would instead approach negative infinity. This means that dividing something by 0 would grant us both positive infinity and negative infinity, which doesn't make that much sense, which is why we call it undefined. I suppose you could say that this makes sense as 0 and -0 are the same, but I'm not sure about that. Overall, I find the topic of dividing by 0 to be very interesting :D
@boldCactuslad

corrections: it's just kelvin, not degrees kelvin and the eye actually doesn't work in fps, it just sees a continous stream of data, every single cone and rod cell have their own "refresh rate" overlapping with every other cells "refresh rate"
@BlenderTimer
@BlenderTimer Год назад
Yes, someone told me about kelvin not having degrees after uploading. Somehow in all my research I missed that.😆 Also, I'm not saying that the human eye can "see" at 150 fps. I'm just saying the eye can "detect" up to 150 fps. (based on some scientific papers I found)

A caveat to your fact about zero dividing: 2 divided by 0 will go to infinity only if you start at a positive denominator and approach. If you started at 2/-1 and kept stepping closer to 2/0, you would go to negative infinity.

Dolphins are some of the most intelligent animals on the planet, but not quite as intelligent as humanity in my opinion. Our society is far more advanced than dolphins, and we’ve achieved so much in our fairly short time on the planet so far. People seem to underestimate just how many incredibly things humans have been capable of doing that no other organisms can. However, I say humanity as in humanity as a whole are smarter than dolphins. There are definitely people out there dumber than dolphins 😂

1:14 thats the time it takes light to do earth-sun (59/200)th's back to earth! 4:05 actually its the number right before that one, because particles exchange heat, so you would need a particle that has less heat than 0K to achieve 0K. 5:09 becareful with statements man, for anyone wondering: x/0 can equal ANY NUMBER AND PROVES EVERY NUMBER EQUALS EVERY OTHER NUMBER (1=2, example) let me quickly do something: if x^0 = 1, so 0/0 should equal 1 (because any number over 0 is always one), 0/0=x so, 0=x*0 (proves that 0 times anything is zero), 0/x=0, so 0/0=x (this proves that 0/0 can be any number because of 0/x is always zero), 0/x=0, so 0/x*x=0*x, so 0*x=0*x^2 (proof that any number to any power times zero is equal to zero). 8:45 lets discuss every single invention there! Computers, used for fast calculations. Cars, transport that is more efficient relative to walking/biking, alike using horses. Rockets, a good way to travel to space Fans (not fanatics), blow air by the curvature/angle/side its turning Airplanes, create higher pressure of air below the wings, which creates lift. Wright Planes, Propelers rotated the wings which created horizontal lift, which moved the plane through the air (catapult to gain vertical lift), 14-bis no catapult. thats it lol

Anything divided by zero is NOT infinity. It is undefined. Infinity is a very large number....but not a number because it does not follow the rules of simple math. i.e. 1+infinity=infinity. Now subtract infinity from both sides and the answer is 1=0.

Division is clearly not the opposite of multiplication. That's why there is a divide by zero error. Assuming the first statement as false, Since, multiplication is repeated addition, that should be yielding the results 2*0=2 as there is nothing added to 2, and 2 remains and equally logically 2/0 is also equal to 2 as well. But, that's not what is being practiced currently, and yet it is assumed to be working fine in many applications, then, the first statement I made becomes true.

The resolution of the eye is not 156MP, it is not straight forward to measure that. At the focus point of what the eye sees it's got a good resolution (I think around 10MP) but the rest of the field of view is far less detailed. Providing FPS for what the eye can see is also wrong since our eyes don't work in discrete intervals like a computer. While tracking a target in motion the eye can notice positional changes incredibly quickly but the brain does not "process" the continuous flow of information taken in by the eye all the time, only the parts it deems relevant. Dividing by 0 is in not infinity either, it can be any number or value you'd like it to be in the limit, depending on how you approach it. Dividing by 0 is undefined (just like 0⁰). Stating that the human ear doesn't work well underwater is a bit misleading, it still works great and sound travels even faster underwater than in the air and our ability to hear is still working completely fine. The frequencies are only shifted and when correcting for that shift you can hear sounds underwater clearly as well.
@seantron5291
@seantron5291 Год назад
#1 you can calculate the equivalent eye FPS that computers use, even if it isn’t the same thing. #2 he made it quite clear how dividing by 0 results in infinity. “0” itself is not undefined. 0/0 is undefined, and x/0 is also undefined for the reason the video explained. #3 you literally contradicted yourself. We cannot hear underwater well at all. Ever had a conversation with your friend below the surface? You then say that the frequencies are shifted underwater, and when we correct those shifts we can then hear correctly underwater as well. This implies that you were saying we cannot hear clearly underwater while those shifts are uncorrected, but you were arguing that we can?

Dolphins have amazing senses. I wouldn't say that's intelligence but great evolution. Sea turtles have amazing navigation senses due to the iron in their brains. I wouldn't say this is intelligence. Intelligence is Newton or understanding quantum mechanics. That's how I would describe it, as an example. Most animals including Dolphins have most of their knowledge passed by genes not education. I think most humans are biased against other humans, understandably.

you have lost credibility by using the imperial system of units

I know, the imperial system is really stupid. But most of my audience is in the US so imperial takes precedence. I still include the metric for people that don't know imperial.

And for that we non Americans thank you, most content creators now only provide measurements for the imperial system as if the USA is the only country in the world and its so annoying, especially when they admit the imperial system sucks

8:11 this information is bs. Humans dont see 150 fps, if you know cinematography and used cameras you know

@snbdxmnv4057 Год назад
Humans can see much more fps, if we count it in the same way we count monitor fps. You probably think we cant see above 60fps, but thats only applicable if you measure it in a way that is right for eyes, not other devices.

We don't see in FPS. But what part of "we can DETECT up to 150 frames per second" did you not understand?
