The infinite friendship glitch is actually pretty useful if you're trying to farm large milk to make gold quality cheese for healing. I do that glitch whenever I get a new cow and it saves a ton of time.
If you have a full inventory, with one base quality milk (and no others) and try to milk a cow that is going to give higher quality, you will gain friendship and still be able to milk it again. It's not as good as animation cancelling (it burns stamina), but it is more reliable and works on console.
The Seed Maker can produce Wild Seeds. If you put any of the four foraged items: Wild Horseradish, Spice Berry, Common Mushroom, or Winter Root. So if you choose your cave to produce mushroom you have a good supply of common mushroom which can be turned into fall wild seeds which you can transform into tea sapling and sell each at 500gold.
@@ZipClipChannel well you don’t necessarily need the seed maker to do this. You can make the tea saplings within the first week of the game if you forage every day for the spring forageables and befriend Caroline early on. Then you just turn the items you foraged into the spring wild seeds and make the saplings out of that. I do it every time I start a new game and it’s really helpful for making money in early game
These facts are NOT useless! I need to craft one of everything for perfection, and I thought I had to visit Robin on different days for those recipes. I didn't even try closing and reopening the menu for more recipes. And that wasn't the only useful tip, either. These are great! Thank you!!!
Fairy Roses are also useful for Fairy Dust. Not something that is efficient to do often, obviously, but it has its uses, like for getting quests done, or if you just really want to get some Starfruit from Gold to Iridium quality to free up a cask. Very situational, but a decent use of regular quality fairy roses, I guess, if you have some spare diamonds kicking around.
I was sooo surprised when that suddenly happened in my testing! I have literally never seen anyone talk about that before, which is really surprising to be honest
@@ezlilyy I've seen a few people talk about it, but you're right that it's rare. I think Wickedy was one of the ones who mentioned it. You guys are the best for tips and tricks!
That friendship glitch was unknown to me. Now that I know it... I'll exploit it. So useful. I'm not skilled at animation canceling, so I won't get a lot of use out of it. However even a little use is better than nothing.
There's also Mead from Honey in the kegs and you could also age the roe from the fish ponds to get caviar from The Preserve jars. Had no idea about the spook fish though so that's pretty awesome
some people say they used to think that you can buy only one recipe from Robin a day... well, i thought you need to CRAFT it before you can get another one. i was stuck with marble thing for weeks... that thing with napalm ring on the farm - it had happened to me. the funniest thing is that when things started to be getting destroyed i couldn't figure out why! it took pretty humiliating amount of time before i figured it was the ring that blows up everything. i didn't even know you can use rainbow shells to dye your clothes. i spent like 1200h in this game thinking the only way to dye your clothes is to use a prismatic shard... i wasted so many of those before i found those paint things for coloured items. mistakes were made, oh, well...
On jars vs kegs, very niche application though: Processing ancient fruit from e.g. greenhouse in jars creates a higher gold per day per tile than kegs do. The reason is that jars are slightly more than double as fast, while the value is still 2x base +50, combined with using less surface area so you can build something else to generate more profit. The niches where this is relevant: 1. Not wanting to build machines off-farm 2. Producing more crops than your off-farm kegs can process (but really, when this happens.. sit back and watch the world drown in your bank account!)
With the cow milking animation cancel, the timing is actually extremely simple. Just hold down all the buttons for the animation cancel then hold the Use Item button to milk the cow over and over. Usually takes about 30 seconds of this to get max friendship.
Omg so happy I watched this, I'm on my 3rd playthrough and I chose wilderness farm, I love the napalm ring but damn I never thought about it destroying my farm
Apparently you can softlock the game when you finish a community room. When you finish a Community Center room, there will be a cutscene with the Junimos. When the cutscene start, you can open your inventory and it interrupt the cutscene and giving you the ability to move around during the Junimo cutscene. If you let the cutscene finish, nothing happened but if you go outside of the community center while the cutscene still play, it'll softlock the game.
It isn't actually a complete softlock. What happens is that leaving the CC means that the game won't undo the fade-to-white effect that occurs when you finish a room. You can /technically/ still play the game fine, and everything will work properly. You just won't be able to see the game world.
@@embracethevoid2877 I believe that's exactly what we call a soflock. When the game is still playable but you can't make any prorgess or it's just too hard to keep going.
@@mauersegler Fair enough. I just feel it's important to distinguish between a softlock where it is literally impossible to make progress in the game, and one where progress is technically possible, just incredibly difficult/time consuming. For instance, the fade-to-white effect goes away if you quit to the title and load the save again. This isn't normally useful, but if you can manage to navigate back to bed and sleep (which doesn't clear the effect), then you can safely quit out, reload, and continue playing as normal. There's no practical way for a player to do this without either using mods or being /ridiculously/ good at the game (e.g: Haboo's blind speedrun), but it is technically possible to keep playing without losing progress.
I've been trying to get the sword that's dropped by haunted skulls and she just got it in the vid... Got perfection and now looking for the extra things like hats, shirts, pants, weapons, and such....rng is sometimes that annoying to deal with
you can get magnets for tokens at the desert casino. i used to use magets to fish for artifacts i was missing, but 1.5 update increased the drop chance for most of the artifacts so i never really needed magnets again... so, in case you need magnets i suggest getting them at the casino
The most interesting thing is,that I wanted to write here that i (sadly) SUCK at this game, maybe im jus not playing it enough, and it at the same time (in frames in the end of video) shows me "how to be instantly better at stardew valley" Waiting for reply :)
Magnets are normally not that useful except for ginger island. The thing about ginger island is that rarer artifacts are often found there in treasure chests. For example IN ONE DAY I GOT BOTH A DINOSAUR EGG AND AN ANCIENT SEED. So that is the answer to your question
There is actually one alcoholic drink that doesn’t give you the tipsy debuff: Pina Coladas. These can be bought from Gus at ginger island (correct me if I’m wrong)
I do! ( If you are not playing on Mobile ) Go to the dangerous version of the regular mines with some monster must and a Burglar ring. Enter floor thirty five, on this floor you should find Carbon Ghosts. These guys have a 99.9% chance of dropping an omni geode. With your Burglar ring, you should get 2 Omni Geodes per Carbon Ghost! It's Highly effective
Honestly, I had heard that the game automatically puts you into a dress/suit, and I was so embarrassed that I believed it and showed up to my wedding in my regular farm gear
Ezlilyy how do I get the prismatic jelly for the Wizard?, I have gone to floor 105 and to 115 of the regular mines but I just don't get the prismatic slime
I can't help but wonder what you'd think of Graveyard Keeper. It's like a grim and macabre version of Stardew Valley, but without marriage. You can even create zombies to do all the work for you!
I don't think this is a Spoiler, but Go to Grandpa's shrine!!! You will get such a nice and helpful reward after all 4 candles are burning. If you need a reset, give Grandpa a 💎. It is absolutely worth it, when you need a lots of iridium ore - and you definitely will do - to ease your life.
