this video is incredibly impressive. i've been playing falco for some months now, and this basically sums up _everything_ i've managed to pick up over the course of multiple youtube videos. it's a shame i didn't find this video sooner, but i'm still very impressed. a must-watch for any aspiring falco players! good vid, i subbed
I love the amount of effort you put into this video, and it really shows! Not only does it look good, its also educational and does a great job showing Falco players how to master their character! Keep up the great work dude!
Been wanting to learn Falco for sometime and when I saw you made a guide I had to watch it. I know it's 2yrs old as of now but I love your videos. Also, Falso Phantasm can spike :)
This was a really fun guide to watch that made me want to practice Falco a lot more (he's one of my secondaries along with Marth and Greninja) This was a great watch! keep it up! much love from Canada 💜
You really inspired me to better my Falco like i love watching tilde and larry just flying with style and im definitely gonna improve with my falco much love from Detroit brother
I’m extremely late but that’s 11/10 song choice! Lucas’ red hot chili peppers covers are amazing. I zoned out by accident while listening to the music and had to put it back a few seconds lol! Also love the effort you put into these tips! They do really help and even if you know some of them it a good reminder
WOW, that was a good video. I really like how welcoming you are to baby Falco players. The video is well edited, easy to consume, AND you used an acoustic cover of Can't Stop? This is fantastic. Keep it up man.
Super high effort. Great tips, and a lot of stuff I already use and abuse in my gameplay. Some stuff I need to get better with, especially up air strings, but overall, incredible video!
5:01 Yup, that's one of the worst things they've done to Falco. It's disgusting seeing how much better some other character's down-airs are. I know the game changes with each iteration but... to me, having some of the most devastating spikes was just as much a part of Falco's unique identity as his jump height. It would've at least made up for his horribly exploitable recovery a LITTLE bit.
Fair point, but at the same time, Falco's down air has transformed into something new. It has devastating combo potential now, and I'd say it's still one of his best moves
Im a newbie smash player and I chose Falco as my main, any tips on how to hit that triple up air? My character keeps on falling on the ground just by hitting one up air, it can't do triple or even double in one jumping. Thanks
Training mode and what you cab do is short hop up air and when you get the hang of that practice hitting the up air and right after fast fall and repeat this makes it much harder to escape since you pull it off quicker
How about when getting spiked or pushed down stage how does TILDE recover so quick after using UP special he can automatically use it again even if hit.
This was amazing, just amazing Would you be down to play some Matches in smash in generel? I am a Falco Main and I want to become the best there ever is^^
Updates / extra info__ Using wall jump (Tip 7) -You can wall jump and then nair in the place of bair. This can completely reverse the circumstance. It is punishable tho, so it should be used sparingly Neutral (Tip 1) -Most of Falco’s neutral tools have high risk reward. Using down tilt, f tilt, laser, and reflector are good ways to safely apply pressure, and fair can be safe. All of this forces your opponent to approach you from the air, and Falco is one of the best anti-air characters in the game. So be sure to play neutral careful, grounded, and be sure to walk cause walking is BUSTED
